You pay and then can’t get food because only drive thru and the line is a 2 hour wait.
Ordered on the App but still waited 40 minutes in the drive thru, they were out of Spicy chicken so we settled for mild and got home to 10 miniature pieces of chicken. All dried up. Save your money and don’t waste your time. Popeyes is not the same here in Albuquerque. Makes me miss Texas even more!
absolutely not what poor customer service what a sad experience
Slow, slow service. One of the employees was having a coughing fit in the middle of the restaurant. My red beans and rice were only half full. Was not given a spork to eat them with so I had to go back up and wait for someone to notice me and get one. Took over 20 minutes to get the food in the first place. Not worth it. Also, the new Beignet desert pastries are terrible. They taste like jelley stuffed cardboard.
Great chicken! Never cared for KFC or Churches. First time eating here and had to see what the rave was all about. Only down fall, THE WAIT for inside dining….but it was WORTH IT!! They were so busy (I’m guessing cause everyone likes their chicken!) but still treated customer good and friendly.
Pretty darn good food for drive up restaurant fare. Don’t even consider going to this Popeyes if you are in a hurry. I’ve been to Popeyes restaurants all over the country and this one is by far the slowest. 30 to 45 minutes in this drive through is the norm. On a good day it’s still a 10 minute affair. Personally if there’s more than 5 cars behind the menu order spot I move on to the next option at that point.
They should have just closed for the day. Waited 50 minutes in line to be told they didn't have any chicken other than mild tenders. For it not to be a total waste of time, I ordered some other items. My fries weren't burnt but they tasted like pure smoke! I didn't even finish them.
Worst experience I have ever had in a Popeyes. We waited 1/2 an hour to get our food. They messed up our order. The lady expediting the orders got an attitude about it. Every table in the place was dirty. We had to clean our own table! While we were there, 4 other customers brought their food up to the counter because of errors. The lady got attitudes with each of them as well. If the lady expediting the orders can't stand the heat, she needs to get out of the kitchen.
If you want miniature pieces of chicken, soggy fries, very small side dishes and if you wanna wait a long time and go to PopeyesThe biscuit was good that’s about itI wanted coleslaw but they gave me soggy cold fries insteadWhy would any cook serve cold soggy friesThe red beans and rice was rice with bean sauce maybe one bean in it
The food is delicious no doubt. But, unfortunately their service is not so good. If you want good chicken by all means swing by, expect a long wait, and enjoy when you get your order. Do yourself a favor though, do not, I repeat, do not order online. They have a tendency of cancelling orders (probably because of the long line outside) and then pawning off the cancelation on a third party.
