What shall I say? The menu is great for any genuine seafood lover. Brought me to tears to see the generous portions of the food I grew up eating as a child. A taste of the Chesapeake Bay right in the northeast of the Duke City. I believe the greatest challenge for this great restaurant is the noise level. It gets pretty loud in the evenings during the rush, so don’t be surprised by that. Not for romance. Great for chowing down on clams, fish, & Authentic Maryland Crab cakes!!

Had dinner with about 15 people in August of 2021 while visiting my father. Very impressed with the food and the service. Thoroughly enjoyed it.Fast forward to May of 2022 and my Dad has passed. I held a "luncheon" there in honor of my Dad as this was his favorite restaurant. Started working with the owner, Carlos to make this happen about a month before hand. We had an expected party of about 40-45 people for the celebration of life lunch.I can't say enough about the entire experience from the planning with Carlos, to the food and the outstanding service from Megan and Walter. The food orders came out in a timely manner and the food was hot and absolutely delicious. Not one person had a negative comment about the food or the service. Both Megan and Walter were responsive and provided outstanding service for the 3 plus hours we were there.Having the restaurant to ourselves for the late morning/early afternoon was great and Carlos made sure we had an extra table and barrels to set up picture displays of my Dad.I can't thank you folks enough for hosting us and will definitely be back for a meal when I am in Albuquerque again. Best trout I have ever eaten and some of the best service I have ever experienced, bar none!

Excellent mussels! Great wine list. Maggie was a great waitress. Steak and shrimp was very good. Their salad was the best I’ve ever had.

Service was great, prices were "high class" but the food quality was not. At $30+ for a stream I shouldn't have to use A1 to be able to eat it.Flavor in the steak was lacking. That said, service was top notch! Friendly and attentive staff.

I understand seafood is expensive, no problem. When a simple order of fish n chips is 25+ dollars or so, it better come out fresh n crispy. Our poor server had too many tables and didn't even come to check....the manager on duty was no where to be found. Our server was great. However my experience with poor quality will keep this off of the return list. Management or lack there of is always to blame.

I gave it 2 stars only because the service was really great. We were seated promptly with a smile and our server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Otherwise, the atmosphere/ decor was drab and uninspired. The oysters Rockefeller were lukewarm and frankly, revolting. I tried a shrimp cocktail and the shrimp was overcooked and as tough as rubber. The cocktail drinks were good. I had the Bahama mama and it was surprisingly good. The key lime pie was ok. Only because, I'm pretty sure, it was Sara Lee brand pre made. I won't be back to this particular restaurant unless it's just for drinks. However, I live downtown and I can't see passing the best bars in the city to drive to the heights for a Bahama mama. Sorry, Pelicans.

Unfriendly hostess. Tough, dry prime-rib. Poor presentation. Tuna was fine. Weak cocktails (under-poured). Odd music choices (no theme). Decent ambiance, but altogether would not recommend. Over-priced, under-delivers.

Me and my wife went here for Valentine's Day!The food was absolutely delicious, as you can see the lobster tails were huge, we had ribeye steak and a loaded baked potato, can be a little bit pricey, but definitely worth the money!I highly recommend you go there and take yourself or your loved ones to eat here for your special occasions.

Went to Pelican's to celebrate a friend's birthday and we were not disappointed! The crusty bread is served with butter and spreadable roasted garlic and is so good, you'll fill up on it and spoil your meal, but will not mind one bit! They have early bird menu items that are available until 6:30 and are supposedly "smaller portions", but the sirloins are good-sized and you get one side and the bottomless salad bowl. I still had enough left for lunch the next day, primarily because I couldn't stop eating the bread. My friend got the steak and scallops and her plate was filled to busting. We told our server we were celebrating my friend's bday and, after our meal, he brought out a giant mud pie dessert, which is essentially a slab of mocha ice cream with a little cookie crust and a bunch of whipped cream. Delicious! I highly recommend. Be prepared to spend 20-30+ dollars a plate, but it's entirely worth it for a splurge. Make a reservation, because this is a very busy joint :)

My wife and I met our aunt and uncle at Pelican's on Montgomery-Eubank for dinner while we were en route to Tucson AZ. I lived in ABQ for a year while stationed at Kirtland AFB, but had never gone to Pelican's before 17 Feb 2022. The catfish dinner was great - tasty and not overly 'fishy.' The Thursday drink special was 'anything martini,' so I had a manhattan martini - very tasty. Service as prompt and friendly. All four of us were content with our meals.
