The place was filthy, seats torn, tables were sticky and you can clearly see the dirt and grime throughout the restaurant. The staff didn’t care if they had customers or not in fact we felt like we were taking them away from their screen time. The food was the best part of our experience and that was awful. The fried rice was swimming in grease and tasteless.
Foods a bit over priced for mostly a bowl of rice with very little meat. Nothing is more devastating then opening your long awaited container of food for rice.. Yes the meals come with rice but when your meal is primarily rice it's disappointing. First time eating here and pretty disappointed .The search continues for a good Asian restaurant.
If you’re not hungry this is the place to be. Small portion of food. I’m not going to pay for a 9.99 for a snack anymore. Panda express it is I guess. I’m not even a fat man. I ordered two kids meal and think my kids got more food then me. I get fuller eating the Costco Samples. They should put a sign on the door saying if you’re skinny you will love us if you’re fat turn around and never come back.
I used to love Pei Wei, especially their beef and broccoli smothered in their yummy sauce. But I was there today and they no longer serve it with the sauce. It was very dry and bland. No flavor whatsoever. I gave the dry meat to my dog and threw the rest away. I am presuming that because of inflation they had to eliminate the sauce. Too bad. But I will not be returning.
We tried 4 different tofo plates and they were all AMAZING. Some of the best tofo we've ever had. Nice to have another plant based option, highly recommended!
A little more sauce on the sweet and sour chicken would not hurt.. it’s always like they drizzle it and say it’s okay.. very upsetting
Pei Wei’s has been mine and my family’s favorite place to eat for years and years. Todays visit will be my last. The last 4 times I have come I keep giving it another chance, hoping because of COVID or other reasons it has been lacking or just plain awful. It has always been an affordable place to eat with such great flavor. The last few times everything has either been burned or soggy. Today for 3 of us it was a 45 charge, pricey but was do able if food was good. First of all the young lady was just outright rude and dismissive of us. She had such attitude towards us like we had offended her, she started arguing with my daughter about her order and asking what it was she was trying to do. My daughter repeated her order and she’s I found it and rolled her eyes and shook her head at us. I ordered my drink and my daughters got water, she rolled her eyes again!!! This person was the cashier last time we came and was the exact same way the last time!!! I thought maybe she had an off day but this person is losing you tons of business! I heard another table complain about her attitude as well! We ordered an appetizer everything came out in to go boxes and just threw them down on our table. The chicken dumplings were so soggy from sitting in the steam so long they were in edible. The firecracker chicken was one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted! The chicken pieces were ok not bad , but there was a whole plate of noodles with absolutely no sauce on them!! You know how hard it is to eat noodles with no sauce?? I kept having to pour soy sauce and Chile sauce to try Eat them. I finally gave up and threw them away. I would have asked the cashier or someone for help, but due to lack of decent attitude I just threw our food in the garbage. What a bummer to spend 45 dollars on food the was un edible, we left still hungry and upset.
I had been sick and couldn't eat for two days. When I was finally better I wanted Pad Thai that I usually get at the Coronado location. I ordered extra sauce on the side. They put none on the food and gave me soy sauce instead of the sauce they actually use which I proceeded to pour on the entire dish and ruined it. They didn't add peanuts or the extra egg I ordered either. I basically paid $15 for dry noodles and 4oz of chicken. Trash. I'll never ever eat or order from there again.
Grabbed a late lunch a little bit ago. The girl taking orders was really rude. The orange chicken had 3 orange slices but that was the only thing orange tasting in it. The spicy Tso Chicken wasn’t good. Asked for extra soy sauce and received 1 container with about 10 drops in it. Would have spent less going to get a steak dinner. Very disappointed.
This has been my last and FINAL visit since i have started coming a few months ago but the service has remained constant with each and every visit. I am not one to complain or even consider reviewing restaurants but enough is enough..1. Health issues. With each visit the same man with the ascot and beard absolutely refuses to wear a face mask. The young man with glasses and goatee wore it around his neck while the other employees were compliant with local mask mandates. Tables were not wiped down between visits and the trash cans are always full.2. Profanity, DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. EVERY time I have dined in the young man in the front has cursed almost every chance he had. With young children around this absolutely ridiculous. The occasional obnoxious and annoying "yahoo" can be heard from the kitchen.3. Wait time. I understand that covid has hit business hard but the wait time is ridiculous. The staff always look overwhelmed and exhausted. Long wait times are guaranteed no matter the day. Doordashers litter the lobby confusing those that simply want to dine in. Personally, I have waited 40 minutes at a table to dine in only to get cold food and a dry apology. If one could rate no stars I would in a heartbeat. There is absolutely no reason to visit this disgrace of an establishment. How they are still in business is beyond me. At the very least the Panda Express down the road takes pride in health, atmosphere, and quality. If you read this review consider any alternative you have as there are plenty others around.
