Wow this place has gone downhill faster than the Jamaican bobsled team. Waited something like 35-ish minutes in a nearly empty restaurant for the *new* Bourbon Grilled Chicken - which was heavily advertised ALL over the store. What I got - Was a burnt, disgusting portion of little nibbles of chicken served with white rice. I have never been more disappointed by a plate of food in my life. And I'm not just being dramatic. It was BAD. And the wait was SO long. There was nothing I could do. I was there with my fussy 2 year old, I didn't have another 40 minutes to wait for another plate. I ate my cat-food looking meal and left. Steering clear of this place for now ?
Tried this yesterday after about a year of not coming here. Ordered 2 things, one chicken and broccoli with brown rice and the other shrimp with broccoli with noodles. Mine was okay not much shrimp or broccoli but tasted fine. My moms though was horrible, the chicken tasted stale and the brown rice has some kind of sweet glaze on it. Can’t call to talk to them about it because the dude working said yeah technical issues. Won’t be back any time soon.
We got there at 7:30. Literally every aspect of our order was wrong. They had to remake everything and I ended up with some raw beef in my Korean beef. The cook was just in a hurry to get back outside on his cell phone. The person working the register tried to help, but all in all very disappointing. There is a reason it was empty on a Saturday night. The restaurant was clean and the food fresh just very poor quality here.
I am in Albuquerque this week and to my surprise one of my favorite places to eat is here. Pei Wei I have been there in so long and I was incredibly elated. Well to my dismay it was the worst meal I have had in I can not recall in how long. I never leave reviews good or bad but it was so bad that I had to do leave one. I walked into an empty restaurant and said to myself "that's weird they are never empty, are they closing soon" nope is the answer. I ordered paid 18.50 for what I always get honey seared chicken with fried rice a pork egg roll and a drink. I love the mandarin tea. After 25 minutes I got a little worried I mean there was no one here but me. During that time there was a loud audible argument behind me and what sounded like food being made so I just kept reading the internet and waited. At 35 minutes I got real worried people started walking in and they were still making food and finally at 37 minutes my food arrived. I have never been so sad. The honey seared chicken was in 3 large clumps cold and some of it was soft. Some small pieces were on the outside that were crispy but didn't taste like anything. The fried rice was have white rice and wasn't even fully done. The pork egg roll was OK after I covered it in the sweet chili sauce. The mandarin tea was still good. The best part of the meal was throwing away the majority of my food. I wanted to warn the people in line but it was not place. I will take my lumps, not the chicken, and just leave, I'm taking two fortune cookies for my trouble. I loved this place but I will probably never go again and warn everyone I know who loves this place too.
I went here with my family, and the food was very inconsistent, but all bad. I ordered the Orange Chicken, and what I got was an underwhelming amount of chicken, and a whole lot of undercooked rice. This place used to be really good, but now the only parts of the meal that I can say I enjoyed were the parts that the staff weren't involved in making, like my drink and fortune cookie.
Ordered online for curbside pickup. Parked, texted like it says on the sign, then waited and waited and waited. Went to the door to get the food myself, and the door was locked, and there wasn't any sign of a single worker in there even though the store was supposed to be open another hour-and-a-half. No sign saying they had to close early or anything. So now I'm out over $25, and have no food to show for it.
I placed an online order for a holiday lunch for 20 people (for my workplace and we are all health care workers), for pick up on 12/20/21 at 11:00am. I reached the store at 11:00am and waited for 50 minutes but the store was not open (supposed to open at 11:00am).I tried calling multiple times but no answer. I called the Pei Wei on Coors and the manager there said he could not help me. So my colleagues were left without lunch and I lost my money. I am still trying to figure out if I can get a refund or reschedule this lunch, and nobody has even contacted me with an apology. The reason we ordered at Pei Wei was to be able to obtain individually packed lunches due to the covid increase and policies. Unfortunately I was not able to make alternate lunch arrangements in a short time, so all my colleagues had to buy their own lunch. Thank you Pei Wei for ruining our holiday celebration. Please don't take orders when you cannot open in time.Edited to add: I went to the store the next day to claim a refund. The manager Roger Courtney and his staff were very apologetic. He asked for one chance to make everything right for us. We re-ordered our staff lunch after the holidays and Pei Wei provided the lunch to us for free as an apology and they did a good job with the food. Though it is not the same as having our holiday lunch, I still appreciate that Pei Wei accepted their mistake, offered an apology as well as provided us all with a free meal. I have changed the rating due to the courteous staff and customer serviceThank you Pei Wei.
Placed an order for curbside pick up. I waited 7 minutes before I had to walk in to get my order. Ordered a pad Thai and there was NO PEANUTS, no sauce, the noodles were not cooked fully, there was no flavor that remotely tasted like pad thai..Thai... the "new crispy tofu" doesn't even feel like tofu because of the crispness of the outer crust. The Thai donuts were also a big let down.
Haven't eaten here in a while, menu has changed a little, but over nice place for a meal. Wait time for food is slow, they have online orders, pickup orders, as well as instore orders that are being placed. So be ready for a timely wait.
I had the worst experience at this place. My first time going per recommendation from a friend. There was a good selection to chose from. while I ordered a man behind me heard me say it was my first time eating there. He said you'll enjoy it. The food is good. I was excited. I had to wait 58 mins to get my food. They forgot the lettuce wraps and the wonton. They acted like it was my fault they forgot. Finally got everything. Went to eat and the food was cold. The chicken looked under cooked. The Thai pan noodles with chicken so I stopped eating it. I should have gone back and complained but by then I was so over it. I just trashed everything and I'm never going back!! Oh, husband got the beef broccoli and he said the meat was not tender. Bad experience overall!!
