If you’re looking for average food and average to below average service, this is the place for you! Everything on the menu tastes like microwaved leftovers and is $3-$5 more expensive than any half decent Mexican restaurant in the metro. Nothing I’ve had here is particularly bad, just not very good. If you want to spend $15/plate for something as simple as microwaved enchiladas with old beans, this is definitely the place for you. $13 margaritas, pace salsa, and store-bought hard shell tacos make for a wonderfully average experience.

The food here is wonderfully good and reasonable. Always a reliable treat in New Mexico... Great food, service and good house margarita.

Oh Man, I was Amazed that we, as a party of 10 were seated very quickly, Atmosphere was Comfortable, waitstaff though thinned out ,we were well taken care of, We also tipped well. Thank You Waiters for a Wonderful Evening!

Very good place to eat and prices were good. Good service.

First time going, heard great things about this place. Was seated quickly but asked to move to booth because the smell coming from the restroom was horrible. We did Inform the manager on shift Trini. Food was served to us quickly but cold . As we were leaving my friends scarf fell in the crack of the booth she went to pull it up and the booth cushion raised up and they had a mouse trap underneath the booth seat and mouse droppings everywhere. Overall a bad experience not sanitary would not recommend going here.Asked to speak to the manager again and she was not available.

Our first visit that our good friend took us to so we could try it. I had a great meal, forgot the name but it is #11 on the menu. The margarita I tried was great as well. My wife and I are sure to return for the great service and great meal. Oh, and we had to try the flan, it was superb.

I called in an order for grond beef burrito. When i got there to pick p order, I asked (to make sure) it was a beef burrito. I was told by a young lady that it was a beef burrito. Upon geting home (6.6 Miles according to google) to my surprise, it was a bean burrito. I called Papas back and spoke to the same yong lady who took the order, I told her it was abean burrito and she offered to put me onm the comp list for my next order, then pt me on hold for 5 minutes. Then trhe mgr gets on the phone, I told her the sitation, she says she spoke to the kitchen staff and was told they checked this order b4 going out and it was a beef burrito. As well she would not put me on their comp list and would only refund my $$$$ unless and if I returned the meal. The mgr was implying I was a liar, to get free food. To be honest, this pissed me off. So I drove 6.6 miles back to return this crap. When I got there I asked for the kitchen mgr (as I wanted see the idiot that lied to the mgr) that they checked the order. The older lady who said she was the mgr, said she talk to the employee resposible and gave my $$ back. There was a time that i thought the Papa's was the very best Mexican Food/value in town. Sadly, this is not the case anymore. The shear indifference of the manager on duty this night, was horendous. The only reason I gave 1 star, is due to the fact there were no negative stars to give. I have been a customer of Papa's sine the 85' when i got out of the service. Please note "I WILL NOT RETURN"!

Went here because it was recommended by the New Mexico.org tourism website. But we’re very disappointed. Waited for 30 min for food, the rice was cold. Guacamole is not freshly made

My in-laws LOVE the tamales and red chile, so we ordered 3 dozen tamales to send then in Phoenix.

I saw online that they serve a puffy taco so I had that with beans and corn. It was delicious, more like a native taco!! Also had a pomegranate margarita, probably won't order that again. They were short staffed so be patient. Our food came out quickly and our server was friendly. Loved that puffy taco!!
