First thing I tried was the miso soup which should have been a dead giveaway that I should go elsewhere but I was optimistic. Next the sushi came out and it looked so depressing. The colors were meh and the taste was so bland it made me wonder if I had COVID (unfortunately I did not). The only decent item we tried was their baked mussels. The service was good and everyone was super nice but it does not make up for the mediocre, at best, food we had.
The sushi is supper fresh and the staff are on spot at this location. We were seated immediately and it was a little busy. The staff were short handed but they did good. The Hawaiian crunch plate was so good! And the atmosphere was cool and comfortable. Come eat and smile with the staff
By far some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. We were in town visiting and I saw it had great reviews so we decided to try it out. The attention to detail is great, the miso soup was delicious and the sushi was beyond this world. Definitely would recommend, it’s worth every penny I promise.
This place is a scam. Arrived at 4:57pm for Sushi Happy Hour, which ends at 5:30pm. They sat us down right away and then did not return to the table a single time. When attempting to flag them down, they just ignored us. We waited until 5:28pm (as Happy Hour ended) and left, never even receiving waters or having our orders taken.
Excellent sushi, skills are masterful and delicious.! Tried the rice pizza, delicious and interesting concept! Also tried the garlic sunset, very good but hardly any garlic to my taste, comes with soup, steamed vegetables and jasmine rice all perfectly balanced! Ask ahead of time for gluten free option, they're able to accommodate if asked before ordering! Definitely will be returning again.
Great sushi! I like to go on special occasions, plus they give you a free slice of cheesecake on your birthday. The price is around $10 per roll for decent portions. The entrees are also good ?
I had sushi & beef with broccoli and Mt fiance and daughter both ordered sushi & orange chicken. The sushi was amazing (as always) and both our dishes were timely & tasty!
Wonderful food, experience, and atmosphere. Like a mini little vacation away from Albuquerque for a couple hours. Really doesn’t feel like your average Albuquerque restaurant. The decorations like this could come off as cheesy but they are done very tastefully here. Love the trees and tiki torches. The service was very attentive and polite. Quite amazing overall! Especially during this pandemic. Felt the place was part of the old world. :)
One of our favorite places! Wonderful staff. Delicious food!
Let me start by saying I ordered this through uber. I ordered the fox roll and fire roll with the orange chicken. The fire roll doesn't match the description what so ever. They topped mine with raw fish. I didn't even touch it. The other roll which is the fox roll tasted horribly. Sushi from a gas station tasted better than that. Then to the orange chicken.... more like breading covered in orange sauce. The pros to this order was that the orange sauce is actually good and spicy. I would have loved it on some chicken. As well as the Thai coffee was good. They should stick to drinks and sauce.
