We drove out from California and found this great Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque. We had the greatest waiter, Andy. He was very welcoming. knowledgeable, and entertaining. He made our visit memorable.
Excellent food and service. Pretty little patio. They even have breakfast available at any time. Went to the Osuna location. Fresh chips and salsa. The fish tacos were great with grilled Cod. My friend had the Green Chile Cheeseburger and said it was one of the best ones he's had and the onion rings were thick and crispy. We will definitely be frequent customers here, especially since their prices are better than most other New Mexican /Mexican restaurants in the Albuquerque area.
Excellent food and vibe. Loved the tacos, and the dessert. Sitting outside is also a bonus.
Love that there are keto options. My husband got the carne adovada and it was delicious. I got the Pork chops. I'm sure they would be better in restaurant as they cooked down a bit by the time I got it. I'd probably add cheese to the chile next time.
Disappointing. It had been several years since we had eaten here. The food was OK, but not exceptional. Unfortunately, the price made me expect so much more. The waiter never made eye contact, was not friendly and after our food arrived, never came back. My taco was plain. The relleno was good. The enchiladas were less than average, flavor-wise. It is sad that so many places have increased the prices, but not the quality.

Seriously? I picked up lunch for my daughter and myself and paid $15 per order for the carne adovada low carb meal. Got it home and this is what it looked like. The container isn't even half full of food. I've been eating at Monroe's ever since the only place open was on Lomas. Probably won't be back.
