Great coffee!!! My family and I recently traveled out west and we're in the area for the night. We love coffee and wanted to find unique coffee shops on our travels...this coffee shop knocked it out of the park!!! Coffees and vibe was fantastic and offered awesome service too?. Thank you Michael Thomas Coffee...you rock!
Lovely place to study and have some good coffee. The atmosphere is really nice, the inside sitting options have very nice lighting for reading and completing work. The coffee blends are exceptional; I'll often buy a bag for a friend or family member who is also a fan of Michael Thomas Coffee.
One of my favorite places in Albuquerque! Best selection of beans and the baristas help you find one that fits your taste. I always do pour over and they always seem happy to do it even tho it’s longer. Love this place!
Stopped in for an afternoon coffee. Great selection and really good coffee. Nice atmosphere. Will do it again
The coffee is great, but some of the staff members are unnecessarily rude and clearly hate interacting with customers. Some of the baristas are lovely, but it's not enough for me to want to continue to come back. I've worked as a barista, so I tip well and am really friendly. There are so many great coffee shops in the area where people are kind and welcoming, and it's just not worth it to come here.
Workers are super chill and nice. Helped me out with a bunch of coffee near the end of their day and made me feel very welcome.Coffee is tasty, large selection of beans, and awesome in-house flavorings. I will have to come back to have more!
Delicious coffee and quaint attractive place but, I like my drink super hot. I asked for it piping hot when I ordered it but was disappointed to be given a warm but not hot latte. When I asked for them to make it hotter they gave me grief about only being able to make the drinks so hot, which I thought was lame.
Stopped in for my first time a few days ago. Although I was a little taken aback at the confused look I got when I asked if they could do a blonde pour over, overall I really like this coffee shop. Ultimately, the medium bodied pour over I did order came out tasting really smooth. The space also had a nice energy about it. Nice mix of people. All courteous. I will definitely be back. And soon. And I will be picking up some roasted beans to carry home on my next visit over the next few days.
This is how coffee should be.I got a large (20oz) cup. They asked the questions I love to be asked- Would you prefer a lighter or darker roast?- Is this origin good? (It was Honduras and I *love* South American beans!)It was fresh. It was simple. It was the perfect heat. They left the perfect amount of room for cream. The barista was super pleasant, informative, and nice. They have a great selection of classic coffee shop options, rather than a bloated modern menu.I’ll be back here next time I’m in town, for sure.
I will no longer be supporting this business. After I told a few friends and family this last experience they have also said they will also stop supporting them. Went in to buy a couple bags of whole bean coffee. Noticed the price stayed the same but the amount of coffee recieved was significantly less and questioned it. Cue all the excuses about shipment, manpower etc etc. Was than rudely told than I "don't need to buy it". Guess what, we won't. You were pricey before but you had good coffee. Now your giving less coffee for the same price and rude. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on.
