After travelling from California we came here on road trip. Amazing service after long time. Gorgeous delicious food and terrific drinks. I would recommend it 100% if you want to enjoy and have beautiful time. They customized the vegetarian options for us.Vegetarian options: Veg food available on request

My husband and I stopped in Albuquerque on our way back to MN. Our hotel referred us to Mariscos Altamar for dinner, and we had such a great experience. Not knowing what to order, we asked our server Emily for advice. Her suggestions were perfect. The food was tasty, made from scratch, and the portions were extremely generous. We also met the owner: Mr. Hernandez: a hard working, gentle soul who couldn't have been friendlier. Well done Hernandez family. ???

Excellent experience and strongly recommend. Plenty of seafood options and a few others drink were wonderful.Started with a basic margarita. My wife had the Lava Colada. Very yummy.I had the Shrimp and crab mixed Enchiladas with red and green sauce. Pretty good! My wife had shrimp with flour tortillas. Both had sides of rice and refried beans. Chips and Salsa were good, but spicy. Note: you do pay extra for them!Axel was our server on this day. He did an excellent job and when he found out that we were staying at a nearby hotel. Offer another margarita at no cost!

Stopped by New Mexico for some authentic Mexican cuisine!! For my drinks I had the Razi Kazi shot and a cucumber Fishbowl. Both were potent and delicioso. For dinner I had shrimp, octopus with green and red peppers served with a side of rice and tortilla shells.. First time at a Mexican cuisine. The entire experience was delightful.❤️Karina was my waiter, she was so sweet!

We were here on a Saturday evening and it was very crowded. We were told there would be a 20-30 minute wait. The first pleasant surprise was that we were seated within 5 minutes. The drinks were great. Both my husband and I opted for the seafood ceviche plate. It was huge and delicious and we wound up with a to go box. Every plate that went by looked wonderful. Our server Destiny took fantastic care of us. Highly recommend!

What a delightfully delicious Mexican/seafood restaurant right around the corner from several familiar hotel brands. Cheerful, efficient staff obviously work together as a team to put customers first while serving delicious foods presented in a tasteful manner. Every need we had was met. Crisp, warm chips were served first with two kinds of salsa to accompany our tastee, specially priced drinks. Our entrees included salmon, seasoned just right and were accompanied by a plentiful serving of various tasty vegetables. A scrumptious meal at a reasonable price. We had a blast, and it appeared to be a festive place to celebrate birthdays, as two big parties were accommodated in such a fun, joyful way bringing smiles to most all other guests, as well. A night we’ll remember always that was so “worth it” in our travels, driving to the Grand Canyon!

Danielle was my server. Excellent. She is attentive and personal. Drink was strawberry lemonade fishbowl...delicious!! Dinner was beef enchilada and beef tostada. Amazing. Totally recommend

Leo was our waiter and did an EXCELLENT job! We LOVED our food, the chips were warm and Leo refilled our water and tea. He was very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything and we were! I told Leo that I would give him 10 stars if I could. We will be coming back the next time we are in Albuquerque. Thank you!

We had the best server, very attentive & always checked if we needed anything else. The service was excellent! Food was delicious like always! They even sang to my daughter in law Happy Birthday! Thank you!

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and Eat Well Travel Often.Looking for a new restaurant this weekend in Albuquerque, we came across a place close to our hotel that is touted as one of the best in town, so we were excited. The server was nice, friendly and helpful with the menu. She asked if we wanted chips and salsa and we said sure. The chips were thick and tasteless and the salsa was thin and just hot, no taste. Not a good start.Diane got the appetizer combo of nachos, flautas, chimichanga, cheese quesadillas and fried shrimp. You can see that the nacho chips were burnt. The flauta was crispy and stuffed with dry shredded chicken, the chimichanga was not fully cooked and stuffed with a couple of bites of beef and then the same shredded chicken. The shrimp were the black items on top (check the pic). The shrimp was tender but the texture seemed as if it was run through a tenderizer. Once again, lacking a real taste. The cheese quesadillas were very good. Now for my plate. A pick three of which I chose a cheese enchilada, beef taco and fish soft taco. The beef taco was loaded with shredded beef (they don't have ground beef) so full there was no room for the lettuce, cheese and tomato. The shredded beef was neither tender nor tough. The cheese enchilada was almost completely absent of flavor. The fish taco was loaded with fish that tasted like it was cooked in ocean water it was so fishy.Overall, they were very liberal with the portions but way overpriced even if it had been good. The bottom line was it was so bad we just stopped eating. We told the server about some of the issues and she said she was sorry and handed me the bill. The last bad news was that we were charged $2 for the chips and salsa. We almost never do bad reviews because we check out our restaurants by using reviews and don't have too many bad experiences. This one we just couldn't understand. No way we could recommend this place. We found no saving graces. Two thumbs down ?.
