I loved everything except green Chile strips which was over fried. The taste of other one is very good away so not taking away any stars for one bad day!
Best food I've found in Albuquerque!! Delicious food and friendly staff. The owner I met, he was very nice and helpful. Beautiful atmosphere. You absolutely have to try it!! If I could give it a 10 I would.
This place is great! Fresh ingredients, creative dishes, lots of amazing choices with a slight Indian flair. I saw at least four options I wanted. The coffee is really good. The decor is fresh and clean, and the service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended!
I discovered this place a couple of years ago, when I was staying at the Courtyard Marriott, scouting for a place to live in ABQ. We wandered across the parking lot because of the limited breakfast options at the hotel... and we were absolutely blown away by our experience.Marigold Cafe looks, perhaps, unassuming from the outside, but once you taste their food, you will understand that these people truly know how to make a delicious meal. That first time there, my partner and I both chose what is our favorite morning meal of all time--breakfast burritos: with bacon, smothered in xmas chile (both green and red chile, for the out of towners ?), and, ever since, we have been hard pressed to order anything besides these smothered wonders. The burrito contains an ample portion fluffy scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, and the most heavenly "Marigold hashbrowns." I can't overstate how good these hashbrowns are, both in terms of interesting flavor and texture, as they are perfectly soft in the center with an outside that stays crispy inside the burrito, even until the last bites.Lunch has tasty options, like the Tikka Mac n Cheese and the burgers, though I've mostly eaten here for breakfast. They also make a delicious chai tea latte, that tastes like it comes from a homemade blend, and the pastries are beautiful. I've been told that their Huevos Rancheros are quite tasty, but my first love will always be that burrito. Further, customer service has always been exceptionally friendly, including from individuals I suspect may be the owners/managers.Needless to say, we have been back many times, and it is the one non-negotiable stop when my out-of-town partner comes to visit. Check it out, and I hope you'll fall in love with this charming cafe like we have.
Vegan breakfast? You bet! They make a great breakfast taco. Not to big, not to small, and their own unique take on hash browns. They can sub eggs with tofu scramble. Decent coffee drinks.
The BEST huevos rancheros I've ever had and the hash browns were light and crisp and delicious. You order at the register and your food is brought over when it's been prepared. No-frills but polite and friendly staff. And the food is so good.
Excellent restaurant in Albuquerque. Neat and clean. Excellent service. The breakfast food is not as flavorful as I'm used to in Texas and Louisiana but it is very good by New Mexico standards. We will return.
I came here for lunch and ordered the Chicken tikka bowl. After 35 minutes of waiting and seeing three patrons who came in after me receive their chicken tikka bowls, I had to ask where mine was and if they could package it to go so I wouldn't be late returning to work. The food (which was not my order, just a ditch effort to give me something) was just okay but the obvious mess up in the order delivery was frustrating, not to mention the lack of apology for it. Not sure I'll go back...
My mother and I decided to stop at Marigold Cafe for lunch time. I ordered a salad and she ordered a hamburger. We waited for an hour and didn’t receive any food. When we arrived there were two people already finishing their food. After an hour the restaurant had filled with people and no food had been served to anyone. We saw to go orders being pushed out but the people inside had not received any food. Finally our patience ended and we asked for a refund. The girl never took my card to issue the refund and just told me that it was done. So now I must wait a few days to see if the refund was issued. For our trouble, the guy at the front said “sorry” and offered me a %20 discount on our next visit. I don’t think a %20 discount is going to save the customers that we’re waiting with no food.During this whole time, the entire staff stayed in the back I assume hiding, without any info as to how much longer we would all be waiting.
Good ambiance and the breakfast tacos were delish & crispy ♥️
