Today we did a call in order in which we had to go to them to ask for our order because others were receiving their orders before us. We waited 1 hour. My co worker and I came back to work and our order wasn't the correct order. We also ordered 2 shakes and they tasted like malts with alot of milk. We will never eat their again. We asked for money back that's when manager came with our messed up order and never got our money back.
Super friendly staff and awesome food. I have not had steak fingers and gravy in about 10 years since living in Texas. They were cooked perfectly and the white gravy was extremely tasty. Not only that I had some time to kill because my car was getting the windows tinted.. I asked if I could hang out for about 20 minutes and the lady I asked was so nice, she told me of course. Very clean restaurant, great food and wonderful staff. I can see why this place stays so busy. I will definitely be back. A+ in every way..
Wanted very much to support local businesses/ restaurant... Drove across town from the far west side just to eat at Mac's Stake In The Rough! Parked went to pull handle to go in and order and enjoy a good family meal... NOPE! Door locked no in side dining... Turned around and drove right out. Can't open ur dining room I can't spend my money there.
What happened to the deliciousness of this place. Food just is not what it used to be; really sad to see such good food go down the way it has. Really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is not the first time that we had food from here and it just didn’t taste the same.
I ordered the steak fingers and normally it's delicious. The meal came to me a bit cold with soggy fries and the gravy was watery with no flavor. 13 dollars down the drain. I probably wont go back to this location.
Yum, that green chili gravy is awesome with the steak fingers. Cole slaw was on the bland, sugary side but made up for it in friendly service. Definitely worth a try.
Took an hour upon arrival to finally receiving our food which was missing French fries as part of the combo meals. Went and knocked on the door instead of pushing button to wait for person another 20 min. Then she gave me someone’s gravy instead of my fries at which point she gave me one order of fries instead of 2. My goodness! Food is mediocre but certainly not worth the long wait!
Horrible service. Pressed the button to order and waited 10 minutes. We assumed that station was closed or broken so we went to another and pressed the button. No answer for another 10 minutes. We decided to go inside to eat. The dining are was closed. We ended up going to through the drive-thru. That took 20 minutes. When we finally ordered our food and a milk shake, the lady yelled out on the speaker "AINT GOT NO ICE CREAM!". We finally got to the pay window and received our food. We asked for extra ketchup. The lady at the window said "AINT GOT NO KETCHUP EITHER!". While we were waiting in the drive thru, we saw many cars pull up to order stations, press the button and just leave after 10 minutes. Macs used to be such a great place to eat. It is sad to see it go downhill so fast. We will definately not go back.
First and last time to ever eat there!!!! Food was horrible a hamburger that tasted like charcoal an order of onion rings with literally with like 6 onion rings. A fish sandwich which a couldn't even eat ended up throwing away. Whoever reads this DON'T EAT THIS GARBAGE!!!!!
Drive thru closed. They do not acknowledge you when button is pressed. Myself and several others vehicles moved from slot to slot trying to order. Many people left due to no response. I flagged down the car hop girl and she said she would let them know inside. I was there for 40 minutes just to get two meals which was not worth the hassle or time.
