1st time trying this place. Didn't disappoint, had the house club with fries. Big menu to choose from. Big variety of Mexican food. Big portions. My husband and I ate for only $45. Also included in the price was two Stella Artois. Meal so big had to bring 1/2 home. Extremely friendly staff, place gets busy, but staff makes sure to stop by table to make sure everything is going well.
Just had possibly the most perfect meal of my life here at Mac’s. I’m so happy right now!!Everyone was super friendly & kind, especially the lady who helped me with my takeout order. I got the steak fingers with cheese enchiladas & green chili, which came with beans & rice, lettuce & tomato, and two sopapillas with honey. I wanted an agua fresca, so she recommended that I go around the corner to Paleteria Cuauhtemoc. I had a short wait after I got back from the paleteria and it was more than worth it! I’m on a cross-country roadtrip and I can say that this is without a doubt the best food I’ve had on this trip. Everything was super hot, fresh, delicious & super flavorful. I got really nostalgic because I haven’t had sopapillas since I was a kid growing up in Denver and these more than delivered. Piping hot and fluffy...yum! The only minor change I would make to the meal is I would request extra lettuce & tomatoes next time, since I’m always looking for easy ways to eat more veggies.I rushed in to the bathroom when I first got there. It was clean & a one person bathroom, which I appreciated.One day I’ll make it to Hatch NM, but in the meantime I’m really glad I took a brief detour (~+18 min according to Google maps) from 40 East to satisfy my craving for green chili. I would love to come back next time I’m in Albuquerque. Thank you, Mac’s!! Y’all made my day & I’m going to be floating on this amazing experience for awhile ?
My husband and I have been coming here for over 20yrs now. Our family celebrates birthdays, anniversaries, father's day, mother's day and any other day we can. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and professional. They always have a smile on their face. Our food is always served hot, fresh, and fast. There's never much of a wait and the price of the plates is worth every penny. This is our favorite place to eat any time we decide to go out. Thank you for your service and hospitality.
Cute little place.food was good SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! our waitresses was amazing super sweet!! Kinda pricey tho paid 72 dollars for 4 people for breakfast

Did they actually pay people to write those raving reviews? Seriously? I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was the size of a hot dog….tiny!!!! The red chile was gross and the hash browns were very bland (frozen?). The beans, however, were home-cooked and good. The restaurant was freezing cold and everyone was sitting there eating with their jackets on in the dead of winter! It’s in the ugliest part of town. I was hoping to find a place for authentic New Mexican food but was sadly disappointed.
Very good food! The interior is a bit cramped and the hosts aren't always the most friendly, but you can tell they're really just busy. Love coming here for their steak fingers
I had a salad and my father had the enchiladas. We liked the food and our server Nichole was attentive, fast, and personable! We’ll definitely be back.
I had taquitos and steak in the rough and fried chicken basket. it is delicious, very inexpensive.I called it in 15-20 minutes. I went and picked it up, it is easy to get into parking for handicap , the time that I went it was so easy no problems. Delicious food the employees there are very friendly
I have lived here all 52 years my life and I knew of this place, it was always busy and yet I had never been there. It was really good. The chili had really good flavor. The green had a bit of spice the red very tasty but mild. Sopapillas were fresh and tasted great. Service a great and the waitress gave us each a Santa marshmallow. The price was even better for 2 breakfast entrees, 2 coffees and extra sopapillas. Well, I guess we have a new spot!
