Good size portions, fresh product, but needs more flavor.

Kulantro noodle bowl was very good! Huge portion, lots of protein (shrimp and chicken), and a good helping of noodles and veggies. My favorite part was the crunchy egg roll. The best egg roll I've ever had. When for lunch and the service was very fast. Would highly recommend.

Never before tried Vietnamese food or anything remotely close to this. Just WOW. I don't care for cabbage, hate onions and cucumber and not a fan of cilantro. These all combined with their sauce and proteins (they were all great options) was just amazing! Definitely recommend giving the Bao Sliders a try if you don't wanna dive right into a giant bowl! Also the staff was very polite and patient in recommending options.

CAUTION. I am giving this 4 stars only because the system they use for payment automatically adds a $2 tip. They did take it off after I complained. We ordered the Bao Sliders (2 in each order) for $7.80. It was a good quantity, especially when you compare it to the other places at the Sawmill. It was very good, a bit spicy. The food and the service was 5 stars. The pho bowls look huge.

really great service, and even better food!! definitely would come back

My review is not about the food, but about shady business practices. I waited over 30 minutes in line because I had heard so many great things, but when I got home and reviewed my receipt, they added a $3.00 tip to my credit card when I purposefully did not choose to leave a tip when I waited over 30 minutes in line and had to wait another 10 to get my food. A tip is meant for a server taking your order, being efficient, and bringing you your food, Kulantro does not provide those services. I also wonder if I had left a tip if they would have added that to the tip they took without my knowledge. They also charged a fee for using my credit card, but I do not recall seeing that policy posted anywhere, and I am relatively certain the sign said bottled water and tea were $3.00 a bottle, I was charged 3.80. My meal with tax should have been around $11.07, but I was charged $15.29. I do not recommend this establishment.Responding to owners response - Thank you for letting me know you will address the signage. I am not clear from your response if you are implying that I inadvertently left a 24% tip (I did not) or that it is your practice to automatically charge a 24% tip and expect the customer to review the terminal and adjust the tip before signing, because if that is the case, you definitely need to let your customers know you are charging them a 24% tip and they need to adjust it to what they want before signing. There are two other google reviews below that also say they were charged a tip without their knowledge (De Ar and Deloy Smith), so that tells me you have either programmed the terminals to charge an advance tip or you have a dishonest employee, either practice is not ethical in my opinion. I was a manager at a fine dining establishment years ago and if I had caught a server adding or adjusting their own tip, they would have lost their job, I consider that theft.

Love the Noodle Bowl with chicken skewer! Fresh and light, the chicken perfectly grilled, and a lovely sweet-spicy sauce.

I eat here several times a month and when it’s good it’s really good but it’s gone downhill ever since they started precooking some of the food and reheating it on demand. Several times I’ve had shrimp charred black and raw in the middle and noodles cooked until they’re too mushy to eat with chopsticks. As I write this the noodles I’m eating taste like leftovers—some are rubbery and others snap like they’re stale. I assume they’re doing their best to accommodate how popular sawmill has become but it’s unfortunate that ordering from here is a gamble.

The food is amazing, especially the Bao Sliders!
