If I could leave no stars whatsoever I would. This store serves days old chicken, which you can taste unfortunately but luckily so youll be able to tell who gave you food poisoning. The employees are extremely rude, went thru the drive thru and they forgot my jalopenos and when i had asked for my straws (after double checking they werent in the bag) the lady rudely gave me one straw even tho i ordered 4 drinks and she proceeded to say "if you look right theyre in the bag" and closed the window. I took my butt inside got my jalopenos and gave that lady my twocents (whom looked to be in there golden years; shock to see someone in her years being that disrespectful even tho they were clearly in the wrong) respect is earned not given no matter how old you are
This place use to be good like 2-3 years ago, but the last handful of times I went, the food either tastes like it’s days old and has just been constantly reheated or refried or when I go to order like 3 hours before closing they’re telling me they’re out of chicken already. Sad.
We bought two large meals including sides of Original Recipe, 30 pieces of chicken in all for a Mother's Day meal for our family. We came here because we thought we would get Original Recipe with good quality. Unfortunately, the chicken was old and tasteless, the spicing was not the same as what we are used to. All in all, very disappointing for around $90. We'll probably never come back. No wonder they tried to sell us tenders. The folks working there are nice enough, but the chicken was awful.
It's a KFC.....but our visit left a lot to be desired. Super long wait time and when we got home our bucket had all the sides...but no chicken! Sad.
I understand this is fast food, but the kids running the place weren't professional. Everyone was waiting in the drive-thru for at least 30 minutes to get to the speaker to be told they were out of dark meat and were only taking cash. There were no signs posted or any kind of notice for everyone waiting so long for food. When the girl in front of me yelled at the guy through the speaker because of the long wait with no ability to pay, he yelled back. That is not how customer service should be handled.
Do not waste your time here. They are absolutely ridiculous. When I tried to order for my family, I needed 16 pieces, I was told to go somewhere else. Then I tried to call the store and that was another absolute waste of time. They wouldn't answer any questions and just kept passing the phone. This place is a complete joke!
Ordered dinner on the mobile app. Get to store to pick up dinner and wait in the drive thru to be told they are closed because they ran out of food. Can't cancel the order for a refund because the order shows complete on the app. So now I get to come back and talk to the GM another day to get my refund. Won't ever eat kfc again ?
If I could give negative stars, I would. Placed an online order 2 hours before they were scheduled to close. Sent my son to pick it up. They were closed. They saw my son, who was on the phone with me, they told him they were out of chicken. I called the store. I had paid online. The girl who answered was so incredibly rude. She told me it wasn't her fault the system allowed me to order. I asked for a refund, it was in fact her fault. If you close early, you have to adjust the system. She refused to give me a refund. When I argued with her , she put the male fry cook on the phone to intimidate me. Which didn't work. This store should be closed. They are never open and always claim to be out of chicken. No one deserves the treatment I received as a customer who had already paid. I'll never go to this location, or any other for that matter.
Tried the new beyond chicken. Whole family loved it! Fast service. Window employee at drive-through wasn't very friendly but maybe just not too comfortable with the task yet.
Very kind woman (Virginia) working the drive thru. She was following Covid-safe protocols by wearing a mask. She was pleasant and I was through the drive thru quickly...in about 5 minutes. Ordered the three piece original recipe meal with an additional coleslaw. Order was complete, fresh, and hot. The chicken pieces were quite small however—two breasts and a drumstick—which made me grateful I had ordered a three piece instead of a two piece. Overall good experience as I had not visited a KFC in Albuquerque for years.
