Just bad service...I think our server's name was "Abe" - what does it hurt to be friendly? Our order was incorrect when it reached the table and the drink refills were way off. The restaurant loses money with poor staff because people like us end up going elsewhere next time. Tempura appetizer was a big miss - too greasy. This trip for dinner was unlike we've experienced previously at Jinja, very disappointing. Definitely prefer the ABQ Westside location over this one on Holly Ave.
What a wonderful restaurant! It’s an Asian infusion menu that is wonderfully diverse! We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken almost immediately. The waiter, who happened to be the bartender as well, was attentive, friendly and helpful. We started with appetizers; ahi tuna roll and spring rolls that was served with 2 dipping sauces. We then ordered the main course, both of which did not take long to come out. It definitely is a great place and a must try!
Everything was tasty and balanced. The flavors were rich but not overwhelming. The tempura avocado was unique. Will definitely return to enjoy its quality and atmosphere again.
Jinja has the most amazing lime dipping sauce for the calamari. As I was scanning the menu it dawned on me that just about EVERY dish had red and green bell peppers and my calamari even came topped with them. I was like what the heck?! For such a pricey restaurant I feel like they use these as fillers and it almost makes the food no more worthy than a drive through asian restaurant. It would seem that Jinja needs to revisit their fusion style of food and prices. May be a while before I return for a meal here. That makes me sad because I truly enjoy the atmosphere.
My first trip here but not my last. Our waiter/bartender Toby was fantastic the food, sweet & sour chicken was delicious and I had a substantial amount to take home for dinner. And the cocktail was delicious as well.

Great place to taste different plates in a really cool environment!! The food was delicious, really tasty. Moreover, the service was really nice and caring. In their menu they have vegeterian and gluten-free options.
Love their menu! Good food preparation with just the right amount of spices and sauces. Quiet atmosphere for a social luncheon. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Our waiter Cliff was pleasant and friendly. The Original Mojito was very tastywith a pleasant tartness. The Lettuce Wraps as an appetizer were superb and the Orange Peel Chicken and Mongolian Beef rounded out a wonderful dinner experience. We will definitely be going back to Jinja very soon!
