Very yummy food and wonderful service. Our server, Hondo, was wonderful and very attentive. I am not used to new Mexican Chile and he was honest and said I should probably order it on the side and I am so thankful he did! Very spicy Green Chile. I got the southwest eggs Benedict and my friends got the California omelette. Both items were affordable especially for the price.
This is one of the best breakfast/brunch locations in the city.I haven't been back to Albuquerque in a few years, but the quality here is still excellent. My favorite part is getting a giant iced tea (or any soft drink) to go when I'm done eating.Ordered breakfast enchiladas with green and over medium eggs and the eggs broke perfectly over the enchiladas.I highly recommend the burrito or breakfast quesadilla as an alternative. You can't go wrong with many of the breakfast options and their green chile is very good here.
My wife and I recently went to Jimmy's cafe for a Wednesday morning breakfast. While still crowded at 9:30 AM, there were plenty of tables available, especially now that they have added an extra room. I had a breakfast quesadilla ($11)with carne adovada which was excellent. I also had their rasberry ice tea which is extremely sweet and just the way I like it. My wife had her favorite, the Huevos Rancheros ($9.50) with eggs over medium and green chile. Unfortunately, the green chile has changed over the last year and is not as flavorful as previously. We have been to Jimmy's many times and it seems to be our fall back restaurant for New Mexican breakfasts. The service is always good and the menu is varied enough to fit everone's tastes. I would definitely give it a high recommendation. My wife and I recently went to Jimmy's cafe for a Wednesday morning breakfast. The food took a long time to come out but it tasted pretty good, although the eggs tasted a little off. The dishwear/cups seemed very old and not that clean which was unappetizing. Service was pretty good. Seemed a little strange that they closed so soon on a Sunday.
Fast and friendly service. We have only had breakfast but one of our favorite spots. Green chile sauce has great flavor and hot. Large portions for most menu options and they even offer smaller portion plates, which is great. Food is always excellent. Place has more seating than you think so don't be scared off from full parking lot.
Jimmy's has great food at reasonable prices! They allow you to customize your order to your liking!
We had breakfast here for the first time ,it has a nice airy feel to it because of the high ceilings. My husband enjoyed his pancakes, and I had ala carte hash and one egg, just right. The only thing I didn't enjoy was my coffee, just too bitter. Would have liked music on our side, I did notice near the restrooms it was on. Staff was polite and efficient clearly a local place, which we support . We will definitely be returning to Jimmy 's
1st time here my hubby had combo plate. I had a Reuben both very yummy super fast pleasant staff. Next time breakfast ?
Love this place...friendly atmosphere and yummy upscale diner food....our favorite. We will be back. Ronda
Good service. Good food- especially if you would like to taste New Mexican flavor. Our first time going here. Happy with it.
