Quaint little hub with variety of New Mexican, sandwiches, sweet/savory crepes, bagel meals, and of course coffee. Staff was friendly and it was a good Location to get work done. Lovely wooden furniture and there is outdoor seating too. I ordered the veggie crepe and plain latte. With a two dollar tip, it came out to over 16 which seemed a bit steep- especially when the buckwheat crepe contained only tomatoes, feta, onion, spinach, a few nuts. Also no latte art or mug like some other pix show. But I encourage you to visit and check out some of the other options!
Excellent service was amazing! Unique art on the wall. I enjoyed the Mayan Waffle chocolatly and sweet. My son ordered bacon ,egg, hashbrowns, and toast. The location is great because it is just off the beaten path. The coffee was pleasant and clean, Creme Brule made and served by Victor. My son had a Mocha no complaint from him is good.
An eclectic interior. Ordered house made granola, breakfast burrito, green chili veggie omelet with avocado, bell pepper, turkey breast, red chili and chocolate covered strawberry (they ran out of the cherry syrup chemicals) latte with two shots and oat milk and sencha green. $34.36 before the mandatory “non-cash advantage charge” of 4%, $35.73. They get you with a “non-cash advantage” charge to your bill of 4%, this is always after you pay and totally shady of businesses when they do this. You don’t know about this charge until it’s too late and you have already paid. Crooked to me. The sencha is blah. Steeped for 10 minutes and it still tastes like water. The surprise chocolate covered strawberry latte is so-so, not worth the money. Nothing here is worth the money. It’s a Java Joe Joke here. All of the food looks decent, but tastes just okay. The red enchilada sauce tastes quite odd, doesn’t taste right to me. The granola isn’t too bad, but there is quite a few burnt pieces throughout it. The green chili custom omelet was average. The best part was the fresh mushrooms. The turkey meat was clumped together in one spot and the other half had only green chilies and green green peppers in it, need to work on the distribution more. I don’t get the wilted lettuce leave garnish much. The turkey slices could and should have been sliced up more into smaller bites. No need to keep the deli slice whole and intact in an omelet. I don’t think I ever got any red chilies, at least I didn’t find a single piece in the entire omelet. Grabbed a large drip coffee with our purchase and after checking in, the butterscotch flavored.
Can't believe I waited 16 years or so to review my favorite place on ABQ. Food here is phenomenal, fresh, healthy, very vegan friendly. The coffee is amazing every time, lattes to just a regular cup, and they make their own plant based milks from scratch. You can get bags of coffee to go and there's even amazing skincare and candles sold here.

Love this place and the fact it’s so close from my house. Great food and service and very reasonable prices. Definitely the VERY BEST PANCAKES in Albuquerque, specially the blueberry one. Highly recommended this restaurant!

This is my favorite cafe in all of Albuquerque. I wish I lived closer - I would be there every day ?! It's the place I feel most comfortable. I love the decor, the low-key vibe. The people are kind. The coffee is good. Love Java Joe's!
