Good food my dinner companions and I had the Hoy Ping family dinner for 3. It included Egg flower soup, BBQ spareribs, fried shrimp, chicken wrapped in foil, egg roll, beef chow mein, chicken cashew, sweet and sour pork, and fried rice. It was quite a bit of food and we had plenty for leftovers. Cost was excellent too at about $50 including drinks and tax. $60 in total with tip. I forgot to take pictures of the food but next time I go I will. Great service, waitress was friendly and talkative. She was the only waitress and the place was full but service didn't suffer.
The food here is excellent but today I had to wait for nearly 15 minutes just to be acknowledged and seated. Once seated it took 9 minutes for the server to ask what drink I would like. Another 12 minutes just to get the restaurant attention and place my order. I'm a very understanding individual but to feel ignored is not the best of situations. More help seems to be needed and professionalism.
This place is great! Compared to other places in the area, the food is the freshest and the most filling! Absolutely delicious! Never seen my girlfriend have such an adamant happy food dance.
Me and my family love coming here for lunch or dinner. Every dish is cooked fresh and the prices are very good and affordable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood for great affordable Chinese food.
Good quality food.. they make the food the way you it with no problem.. excellent customer service and very attentive waiter..
HoLoMa is the absolute best Chinese restaurant in town. We lived nearby, and now still come from Rio rancho to eat there. Incredibly nice, family owned business.
Best kept secret. Why had I not stopped earlier? I passed this restaurant every day for 40 yrs, and now wished I had stopped earlier. Great food, huge portions, great staff. There is a good reason they have been in business for 43 yrs.
I've been hearing lots of good things about this place, so I finally stopped by. I was not disappointed. We called the order in and picked it up to go. The person on the phone was pleasant, spoke clearly, and got our order right. The lady at the counter was friendly and engaging. We didn't dine in,, buy the restaurant was bright, clean and roomy. There were about 3 parties dining in, all well spaced out. We ordered beef fried rice; has onions and bean sprouts, texture and flavor were spot on. Sweet & sour chicken; the chicken was crispy, the sauce good (not great), I missed the veggies but my husband and son didn't LOL. Sesame chicken was good. Kung Pao beef extra spicy; very food, excellent spice, good ratio of beef to veggies. Will definitely go back.
This was an extremely satisfying dining experience. Staff performed amazingly considering how busy they were. My wait time for ordering didn’t take long and my food arrived within about ten to fifteen minutes of placing my order. The quality of my meal was absolutely delightful. The food was freshly hot straight from the kitchen and the delectable flavors matched the overall excellence of the meal itself. Ultimately, I would revisit this wonderful establishment in the near future. Simply marvelous!
In this time just the fact they are open is many stars enough, and dine in too. Where as up the road the chicken place recently temporarily closed, it's a nice quiet location minus the traffic..lol..lunch was simple and quick. It will be my number 3 or 4 on my list of Chinese food places, no complaints on the food i had for lunch. Egg roll was very good. Other places served the same with bigger portion, but i think this was just right, I'm not feeling guilty of how much i left, as i got so full. Yummy. It's a nice place. I think it's been here many years. Staff was nice and quick to help. Not bad for being busy.
