So overall the place was nice, friendly and accommodating staff, but too high priced in my opinion. I had the filet mignon/shrimp dinner, it came with miso soup and a salad. Of course they were generous with the "sides" like fried rice and noodles but I feel not so generous with the protein. A bill for two was like $85 not including tip.... Definitely not a place that you want to eat out at a few times a week, unless you have it like that!
Went here on a Wednesday night. There was less than a 5 minute wait. The hostess was pleasant, our server on the other hand, not so much. We sat at the grill and had a fabulous time. Our chef was amazing, entertaining & engaging. I had scallops & lobster. Husband had teriyaki chicken. 9 YO son had steak. All was cooked to perfection. Each entree comes with fried rice, noodles, soup, and salad. Portion sizes are huge! We also split 2 specialty sushi rolls. The rolls were fresh and tasty. The bill came to just over $100 and was worth it. Will be returning.
It is absolutely astounding. Not only did this restaurant have great food they also had funny and kind costumer service. 10/10 would recommend. Good soup!
I got to say… I love this place! It’s a go to when in Alb for sure. Their sushi is my favorite! The BMW & West Texas roll. I also get the Filet mignon medium rare with rice, veggies & noddles. You won’t regret it one bit. I also think it’s nice to have the chiefs cook right in front of you. They give a good amount of food as well.
This is my go to spot for fresh sushi! The sashimi is the best! Great service and friendly staff!! The calamari steak is awesome! I will be back soon! From Steve the realtor!
Arrived just after 5pm, no one waiting in line, could have been seated right away at the hibachi, but we wanted sushi. Dining side only had three tables occupied. We sat for 22 min without being acknowledged while 3 different servers passed our table a few times. So we left...
My sisters birthday lunch. The chef preparing our food was great. Very entertaining. The waitress was subpar and rude when I asked why my sister and niece was not offered soup or salad which came with the meal. Plus our whole table with three families kept looking for her for drink refill. The place did get busy after we arrived but that is no excuse for our whole table to be neglected. I felt bad for the other families. I paid for my meal at the bar because we needed to leave. The manager did give me a discount which I thanked him for. I don't think I will go back.
First restaurant my family and I sat down in since Covid. Food is good, but not as great as it used to be. The grill went out in the middle of cooking, so my scallops were a bit chewy, but not the chefs fault.
The server made sure we had what we needed. The grill lunch menu is pretty decent and not heartbreakingly expensive. The grill chef was very friendly, and funny. (A majority of people were wearing masks, if that's a concern.)Usual aside: when I went there were enough servers and cooks. If that happens to change, please be patient. We're still in a pandemic. People are doing their best.
One of my favorite restaurants in town. They are adorable and the staff is always pleasant. I took my grandma and my mom right before Thanksgiving a little wary because my grandma is a picky eater. She loved it and can't wait to go back.
