Love the food BUT not one worker has a mask or gloves on ? how do the paying customers know the hands are clean

Alright first of all, this entire area has hidden gem all over it, get out and try everywhere, shop local!Golden Pride has always had amazing food and service, but the fact they've kept or even improved quality all around is what makes them special. Carne Adovada burrito-SSS are a MUST. Best fried chicken around SKIP CHAINS, mac and cheese and green chile stew as good as mom's!! BBQ chicken is spoon tender, fries are crispy, everything smells incredible soon as it's in the car.If that's not enough the women running the operation are friendly, efficient, and just beautiful souls really. Best of the Best in ABQ, por siempre!

We were on our way to Colorado and stopped to spend the night in Albuquerque. We were planning to go to the Monte Carlo steak house. They had an hour wait to be seated. It was after 8 p. m. Since we had been on the road since 5 a. m. We decided to eat elsewhere. We stayed at the Sandia Inn so we were close to the Golden Pride. We had the ribs and fried chicken. They were wonderful. Sides were OK. We had mac and cheese and spicy beans. They are only drive through because of Covid.Make sure you ask for forks and spoons. They did not give us any. Thank goodness I had some packed.

It's one of the greatest local franchises with several locations around town. Drive-thru lines may appear long, but for good reason! Their fried chicken is fantastic! But I love their breakfast burritos! Especially the "number 9", as it's known to the locals. They also have smoked chicken, which they call BBQ (sauce is on the side), which is good as well. Most dinners come with a roll, but I prefer their fresh "Frontier" tortillas. They can also be purchased by the dozen! Salad options are okay. The large Chef Salad can easily feed two.

Visited on a Saturday morning. The lobby is currently closed but drive through is fast and efficient. Ordered breakfast burritos and fried chicken. The food was crispy and fresh and extremely good value.

Best fried chicken in town. Some of the best carne adovada too. Drive thru only for now, though they’re thinking of making that permanent. The employees get along and enjoy themselves, which is also a sign they’re treated well as the turnover is minimal.

BBQ chicken is really good. Well cooked, great price, fast and delicious

There is only drive thru but lines go pretty fast.

Pretty good food. Service was just ok. Would be better if employees would stop messing around and goofing off with each other and paid attention to your order.

Right now the location does not have dining in. It is a bit of a wait in your car. Chicken is good. Geen beans - good. Mashed potatoes - meh, gravy is good. Worth it.
