I was skeptical, despite the reviews, but they're right. This place serves up true east coast style cheese pies (pizza for those of you outside of N. Joizy). Pretty hard to find the real deal in most of the West, but they do got it going here. If ya want East Coast pie, this is the place in ABQ!
Good pizza, a little light on the crust. We got the New Mexico style with no onions. The pizza was extremely tasty had a good mix of flavor and spice with the green chili. Again the only issue was the crust it was a little burnt.
Best Pizza I’ve had since living in Italy. This place is a gemstone. Their crust and ingredients, especially the oil taste so fresh, it’s the closest to authentic I’ve had. I always get the calzone which is absolutely amazing. The only drawback is you have to pay extra for sauce. Most places give you at least one side. I refuse to eat a calzone any other place in town. The ricotta they use is amazing!I’ve also tried their cannolis. It’s hit or miss on who makes them on if they’re a deal or not. I’ve had them when the shell is hollow and they just put a spoon of filling on each side with chips and dust the top or I’ve gotten lucky and had them filled. When they are filled, they are a delightful treat and I’d highly recommend them.Give this place a try. Hands down best pizza place in Albuquerque
It may be good pizza, but WHO cuts a NEW YORK SLICE LIKE THAT???!!! I stood there and said. DO NOT CUT THOSE STUPID SMALL SLICES PLEASE!!! And they still did…You have truly lost my business forever. So frustrating since it is a pretty good pizza.I have tried over and over, but I finally give up. No more Giovanni Pizza for this New Yorker.
Pre-ordered 4 pizzas for an office function. I arrived early from the time I asked to pick up, the pizzas were almost ready, and were still steaming when the employee offered to carry them to my car. Awesome service, food was amazing, and the whole team enjoyed the offerings. Restaurant also offered/provided plates and packets of cheese and red pepper flakes. Not a single piece of pizza was left at the end of the luncheon, not even a dropped piece of pepperoni. Would absolutely eat here again.
By far the best pizza I have had since moving to Albuquerque! Quality ingredients and the taste was right out of the Bronx! Genuine! The cannoli and the wings were also excellent. Highly recommend ?
Good cheese, crust is great, sauce is good. Average amount of flop. Perfect pizza for a sports night.
Delicious as usual.Reminds me NY pizza. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I thought I recalled them having sliced Italian sausage not the crumbled type.
Some of the best pizza in town. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the quality will vary according to the day of week, as is the case with many pizzerias. If you go on a weekday, or at least when I have, I notice a definite drop in quality. The crust is not as well done or chewy (dough may need to be kneaded better), the cheese is too much, and there is a little less sauce. Still, these guys are pretty much as good as it gets locally.
Really enjoyed the pizza from here! The crust was light and the perfect amount of crisp. We had the spinach pizza. Almost got the wings but they were pre-sauced with hit Buffalo so skipped them! I would recommend this place and come here again! I asked for plates and picked up a couple of cans of soda when I picked up the pizza.
