We ordered the loaded fries, the chicken and waffles and the shrimp po boy. All of them are good but the fries are the star. The chicken and waffles were ok but the waffle send to come from waffle house and the chicken was rather simple. The po boy was a decent sandwich but reminded me more of a ban mi than a po boy. The fries are loaded with everything, mac n cheese, bacon, chicken tenders, sauce and green onions.

Amazing! Everything was delicious! Got the 6 piece and 2 waffles. Comes with a whipped cinnamon butter and maple syrup. Also tried the tenderloin plate, mac and cheese, greens, fried mushrooms, red beans and rice. All were very good. Definitely would go back again. The staff are extremely friendly and they make sure everything came out perfect.

The waffles are on the thin side but they hold up extremely well because they are more buckwheat. The chicken has a perfect amount of spice and are cooked to literally to perfection. Prices were very reasonable with excellent service. So good we went back the next day to get some to go. Will be back again.

Ordered the 8 tenders famous plate and the Junior plate which is 3 wings+a waffle :) the wings were crispy and delicious, and the tenders were juicy and thick. The waffles are thin and the perfect texture to accompany the chicken. I love the cinnamon butter as well, and although the chicken wasn’t as seasoned as I like on its own, the Louisiana hot sauce on the table was awesome :) staff was amazingly kind as well! Highly recommend coming here.

Had a late lunch, yesterday, at Frank's. First time dining there. The place had a good energy about it and I liked the music they were playing. Lots of rock and roll memorabilia adorning the restaurant. Somebody is a big fan of Prince. My server was friendly and attentive. Food came out pretty quick after ordering.I ordered the fried chicken and waffles with a side of fried okra. Sweet tea to drink. The waffles were absolutely delicious as was the fried okra. Fried to perfection. The chicken, however, was oversalted. I say this as a person who likes salty foods....but this was just too salty for my taste. It was fried nicely... someone just got heavy handed with the salt. The sweet tea was the best I've had since moving from the Southeastern U.S. to Albuquerque in 2020.I'll go back. Give the joint a second chance because there was a lot of really good food that I enjoyed. Hopefully the 2nd time the chicken will be seasoned more appropriately.Attached are a few picks I took of the restaurant.....but I forgot to photograph my meal.

We have heard of this Frank’s Famous Chicken & Waffle restaurant and we had it down on our list as soon as we planned for the road trip from San Jose, California to Phoenix, Arizona and we decided to stop by Albuquerque, New Mexico before continuing with our trip to Denver, Colorado. All I can say is that it’s worth the trip to come to this restaurant. The chicken and waffles are delicious. The server and the owner are friendly. In fact, the owner came out to greet and chat with us as she moved to Albuquerque from the Bay Area. We were the first customers waking into the restaurant on that day. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone to come and try their fried chicken and waffles. We will definitely come back when we have a chance.

Great food! Got the combination platter with the wet wings. The wings with the gravy on them were quite tasty and the collards were good. Also got a 2 piece chicken and waffle, I'm not a person that cares for waffles, but there's is nice and thin and served with cinnamon butter, was really good.

First time visiting and definitely will return Nice little place to get an affordable bite to eat. The chicken and waffles were great!! Good portions, and the flavor was wonderful. Not a bad price either. Felt like the cost to food ratio was very reasonable. Fast and friendly service, and didn't have a long wait. Definitely recommend. Very good food.

Went in today 1/26/2023. Spacious seating. Had my parents with me. Staff was friendly and the food was very good. The catfish in particular was crisp and yummy and we had it in a po boy and by itself. The waffles are tasty and a bit thin with cinnamon butter and crispy wings. They really nailed everything down to the fried pickles and my parents even fumbled their order and the staff missed no steps. Definitely recommend

They gave us fresh popped popcorn while we waited. The parking lot is small. Be prepared for a wait, for there are only about 10 tables/booth and 3 bar stools. The food is alot for the price and good. The staff are very nice and friendly. The sodas are in 16.9 ounce bottles, but the tea comes in big 32 ounce jars. The fried mushrooms look like they are the frozen kind. The corn bread muffin was very sweet. The chicken tenders were very juicy, but the coating had to much pepper in it for me. The fries had an interesting coating on it. The coleslaw comes in a pretty big bowl.
