Leaving a 5 Star review was nessesary after the experience my wife and I had there. We went for an anniversary dinner. From the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant we were well taken well care of. The hostess was amazing. Then Cade our server made sure we were taken care of. Very attentive, but not overly attentive. Just the right amount all the way around. My wife's salmon wrap was AMAZING, so she said. My green chili bacon cheese burger and honey bacon brussel sprouts solidified this establishment as a top contender as a dealer of wonderful flavors and excellent ambiance here in the 505. Our experience there made us want to return until we've tasted the entirety of the wonderfully and expertly crafted menu. You'd be a fool as a self respecting foodie to pass this place up. Decent alcohol menu too. Downside....no draft beers. No worries though... The food will totally make up for all short comings that may rear their ugly heads. Try it out!
This was absolutely some of the best enchiladas I've ever had in my life! The special enchilada menu is at the back of the regular menu and you can customize basically everything with them, but whatever you choose you won't be disappointed.Seriously, I got the red sauce enchiladas and they were just absolutely amazing. Piping hot and fresh, with some spice and kick from the red saucer. Being able to add some additional items like avocados is a nice treat!Just go, order, and enjoy! You won't be disappointed!
This is by far one of the best restaurants in Albuquerque. The food has always been super yummy and creative.
My husband and I first visited while passing through Albuquerque in July 2020. The food was great and we were among the only people dining in due to the pandemic. We had such a great experience, we brought our friends here while passing through again in May 2022. They were much busier this go round and we were offered outdoor seating since indoors was packed and a private party had booked the back room. We quickly agreed to be seated outside, since they have a covered patio with misters. We waited ~10 minutes and were seated at a table far from the fully covered patio, beneath a partially covered patio in the back where the misters were broken and not operating. This would have been fine if it weren’t 90+ degrees and full sun. Our party of 4 wound up sitting on the same side of the table to avoid the sun. We were seated directly next to a DJ playing awful music, making conversation impossible (as if sitting in a row wasn’t difficult enough). We asked to wait for a different table, but we had already ordered and were told no other seating was available. Our server rarely visited our table and our drinks were never refilled. My drink didn’t even come with ice. The food was great, but we were overheating and the atmosphere was terrible. I asked for the check as soon as we finished our last bite, paid, and left. We all agreed this was easily our worst dining experience in years. 2 stars because the food was good and our first visit was fine. We’re unlikely to ever eat here again though.
The food is a dining experience excellent pairing of flavors and presentation. Highly recommend the boards
Sara was our server, outstanding service. Food was delicious. We had cemitas, salmon salad, all the sides were great. Live music a plus
We frequently need to visit "the big city" of Albuquerque for business, medical or other reasons. Restaurants have, unfortunately, never been a major draw, especially when compared to nearby Santa Fe with its abundance of excellent restaurants. Staying in the Uptown area we often do take out and tried this restaurant. Very pleasant surprise. The umami burger may have been the best burger ever. Perfect medium rare. Raclete cheese, bacon, enoki mushrooms. Quite remarkable flavor combinations and so large that I saved half for lunch the next day. Had some perfect roasted brussels sprouts with it. Formaggio pasta also was very good and added a piece of salmon which was absolutely perfectly cooked . And prices quite reasonable. The wine list looked serviceable and very reasonable also. The restaurant looked nice and we would probably try the pleasant outdoor dining area next time to really give the food a fair test, as take out is never quite the same. The restaurant is sort of hidden in a strip mall on Menaul, and I am kicking myself for not knowing about this place years earlier, but at least now we know we can get a decent meal on future visits to The Duke City.
I wish we had found this delicious restaurant earlier in the week. It is worth the drive wherever you are. We were in uptown Albuquerque for 5 nights. We ordered take out dinners from there the last 2 nights. Delicious!
I don't understand why restaurants feel the need to change things when they already have a good thing. I was looking forward to having dinner at Fork and Fig as it is one of my favorite places when in Albuquerque. The menu has changed, but they left the green chili burger on the menu. I ordered it with the potatoes as the side choice. I was disappointed due to the undercooked (basically uncooked) potatoes and the bun was stale. Not just stale, but quite hard. When this was brought to the attention of the staff nothing was done. Fork and Fig is off the list. I cannot recommend them any longer.
Amazing food every single time. Fresh fruit and epic desserts. Quality is over the top and service is phenomenal:)
