Beautiful environment, welcoming ambiance, soft lighting and peaceful water features on the patio. The food was a dream. Starter of beets was delicate, fresh and herbal. Perfect for summer. My main course was artistry. Pairing of tender pork tenderloin, and velvety polenta with a bright caper, lemon sauce. Dessert was elegant, and just the right level of sweet decadence. Flourless chocolate torte, carrot cake, and olive oil cake. The only thing that brought a bit of a distraction and dimmed the atmosphere was listening to the staff being disciplined in a loud enough manner that we knew every bump in the kitchen. All and all though it was an experience that will always be remembered fondly.
The pork chop was so good, juicy and huge! The steak my husband got was yummy as well! Cool atmosphere and great food! A little on the pricy side but fun for a splurge!
Based on the reviews, I expected the food here to be exceptional. The food, though, was inconsistent. My steak was incredibly tough, chewy, and not flavorful. My husband’s pasta was similarly chewy, although the sauce was good. The waiter offered to have the chef put together a vegan meal for our adult daughter, which was kind, but the dish was just okay. The bread here is fantastic, as was the duck. The desserts looked prettier than they tasted. Our waiter was very good, but the food really fell short.
Over all very pleased with the whole experience. I have nothing negative to say.Food tasted amazing. And not a "we add salt to make flavor" kind of place. Using spices and herbs to add flavor.Wine and beer for alcohol. The pork belly was definitely amazing. I was very hesitant, but it was seared and then mixed with some amazing flavors. Probably the best dish out if what I ate.Portions are not big.Prices are not terrible at all, especially for the quality we received.Mid teens for appsSoup was $8Dinner dishes $25-$38 rangedWine starting at $13 a glassVery pleasant ambiance, they were full but it didn't feel crowded. They sat us on time, we sat on the patio and enjoyed Wine while we waited. If I had to pick a negative it is only that they close around 9. We were the last to leave (sorry wait staff!!) We were just enjoying ourselves. It was a very comfortable place to sit and talk with friends and family.
We had a group of 8, and chose Farm & Table because it had a small but unique menu - and we were not disappointed!Service was incredible: our server recommended a bottle of Rioja Tempranillo that was absolutely perfect - between us we tried a variety of different dishes but the wine paired well with all. I had the Pork Belly small plate as an app and the duck as my main, and both were flavourful, well seasoned and well cooked. For dessert I did the flourless chocolate tort and it was a perfect plate - different textures, fruit purée and the rich chocolate were the perfect finish for the meal.If you’re considering it: go. I haven’t had such an excellent dining experience in years.
The seating was cozy, the sound level too high for me. My trout was very good. Son's duck was two slabs of rubber - kind of like eating gummy bears. With shared appetizers and dinners the portions were still not adequate to be called a meal. Dessert creme broulee was pretty much like pudding. So with a bottle of wine and tip, the meal ran $80 per person. We don't plan to go back.
Absolutely impressive restaurant. Tastiest food in the city. Great for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Will continue to eat here as long as we live in Albuquerque. The on-site sommeliers are so knowledgable, friendly, and accommodating. 10/10.
We made a reservation for outside dining because while not paranoid about the covid crisis we prefer as much air circulation as possible. The "outside" patio was enclosed with heavy plexiglass--like the kind you find in boat canvas--so the "outside" was the same as being in an enclosed room, with tables spaced closely together. Plus, because the space was supposed to be "outside" there were heaters blasting that brought the temperature up to abt least 90 degrees and the server said that they couldn't reduce the heat. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. The trout was good. The chicken was tolerable (but at $32, probably not so tolerable) and the short ribs were fatty and dry, despite the server's having told us that the fat was somehow reduced before cooking. One of us had a $15 glass of wine which was just about as good as the Four Buck Chuck (formerly Two Buck Chuck) from Trader Joe's and about 20 times more expensive. The server was pleasant but it takes a lot more than a pleasant server to warrant the prices charged for the meals provided at this restaurant.
We had a fabulous meal and great service! From delicious and creative salads and soups to hearty entrees, locally sourced from meat to spices! The servers were attentive, helpful and let us enjoy each course. We will be back!
