We went for what was supposed to be a nice dinner. The food was good, but the server, Vinny never came back for refills or to check on us at all. I usually tip 25% but could not bring myself to tip such poor service. The manager came to our table and mentioned that she noticed him giving us poor service and did nothing. We will not be back.
I stopped by here to grab a quick bite to eat and the hostess didn't want to seat me because I was asking them questions about the menu thinking I don't know what they were thinking honestly. I was solo so they assumed that I wasn't going to eat there or I don't know but other than that took forever to get the check. But the food was delicious calamari was on point!
Our experience was semi okay. Our waitress didn't bring us bread. We had to ask a hostess for some. The cocktails were perfect and delicious! The food was okay. The prime rib was not cooked like asked. Over cooked. My Sous Vide Airline Chicken Breast had a lot of fatty skin on it and the sauce to chicken ratio was not very good. The sauce was great had there been more. We also got a side of shrimp scampi which was great but the side of Embers Mac and Cheese was really watery. We also received that well after our entrees and we were almost done eating. We paid well over a hundred dollars for a semi nice dinner. We will chose else where next time.
We visited the Embers for a birthday dinner and we could not have been more pleased. We were able to be seated earlier than our reservation and service was attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic all around. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant but we will indeed be back. The crab cakes were amazing!
We visited some friends that were staying at hotel here and decided to have dinner in the Steakhouse. This was on a Friday but it was about 830 pm and the restaurant was beginning to empty out. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes just to have someone come by and take our drink orders and almost 10 more minutes to have those brought to our table. Pro Tip: If you want a Gin & Tonic, order that and not the GT that is listed on the menu as it is completely different. The food was finally served and it was unimpressive considering the prices. The steak had quite a bit of gristle and was not seasoned well. The baked potato tasted like it had been microwaved. This used to be a nice place when it was under the Hard Rock banner but those days are long gone. I recommend taking your money elsewhere.
Wanted a great meal and some ambiance - haven't been to Embers since before the pandemic. Was told then that they were expanding and remodeling Embers. I was excited to visit again.Embers is now downstairs in the old Tiwa buffet location by the hotel. If you have never visited Embers Steakhouse before, the open & visible floor plan would probably seem ok.But I miss the private setting & the upscale decor & the patio balcony & the big bar as well as the water & fire decor features. The only change I saw to the Tiwa location was that they dimmed the lights & made the salad bar an artwork display. With a much larger dining capacity. It no longer felt "special" or fancy. The restaurant was slammed busy. All of the staff was working hard. Even with a reservation, it was about a 10 minute wait before the hostess greeted us or even made eye contact. Was glad to have a semi private table and not one right on the main casino/hotel walkway. Was happy to have a pretty table setting. The Waiter was efficient though very busy. The wait time for everything was right at the edge of reasonable.Ordered crab cakes for an appetizer but the restaurant, at 6:30p on Weds 01/19/21, was out of everything crab. Had to ask for some bread. Was told that they were out but were "defrosting" some. (I think "baking" some sounds better.) Even nuked it still tasted pretty good. Our drinks from the bar were delicious. The entire meal was SCRUMPTIOUS. Shrimp cocktail was big. Caesar Salad dressing was authentic with anchovies. Steaks were perfectly cooked, big, and very very good. (The only negative was the butter Steak Sauce. It was served next to the steak instead of on top but it was frozen solid in the ramekin. Once melted, it was a nice addition.) The sea scallops were AMAZING. Large baked potato. Didn't pay attention to the green veggies. Sorbet dessert was pretty with white chocolate shaped decorations. Bravo to the Chefs & Kitchen staff. The food was 5 stars. The service was 4 stars. The facility & decor was 3 stars. Overall, it was nice to finally get a delicious meal during this endless pandemic.
I really liked Embers upstairs for its food. Atmosphere and the staff. It's open downstairs. Shortened menu, taste just as good, yet it's different from upstairs because of its atmosphere; more casual than I'd like.
We really enjoyed our dinner. Got a rib eye and shrimp scampi. Everything was delicious. The service was great.
I was very hurt we had to pay very good money to eat on a table that wobbled and couldn't even cut my steak on because it shook so hard I was afraid I was gonna send the glasses we were drinking from flying. I did want a discount I only wanted to treat my wife to a 5 star restaurant that has decent tables to eat on. As nice as this restaurant is I expected alot more. I can honestly say that I'm upset. Oh and I sent my pork chops back to be cooked further and when I got them bk my wife was already done with her plate and I haven't even started. So needless to say like the gentleman I am I suggested she play the machines until I finished my Christmas eve dinner in a 5 star restaurant with a really wobbly table ALONE.
Excellent meal and superb service. Nice dining room, felt like we had a private table. Ate way too much.......
