Good food but, had to wipe my own table down with wipes I brought myself because all the tables were dirty. Maybe some wipes can be provided so customers can wipe their tables? Bathrooms were disgusting. Women’s restroom had a blood stain on the rim. First time sitting in a Dion’s since 2020, will continue to do food pickups instead because that was just really gross. /:
Dions food is quite good when they get your order correct ! The problem is that they always make mistakes when it comes to getting the order right! For example, we have to order no cheese pizza for my son who has a dairy intolerance and they constantly make it with cheese just about every other order! either that or if you order more than 3 ingredients the pizza ends up being super soggy because, they don’t cook their dough long enough…feeling like they’ve been in business long enough to work out the kinks. Disappointed often.I think this location is too busy and fails consistently! I have two stars because when they get it right it is amazing…but they are more often getting it wrong these days. Last time we complained about soggy pizza…the manager said there was nothing she could do for us since we tampered with the pizza by placing it in our oven in an attempt to cook the soggy dough just to make it edible for us!
I gave 3 stars because the food tasted good, even though the whole order was a disaster. First of all, my internet order was supposed to be finished at 11:30. I got there at 11:40 and it still wasn’t ready. I went inside to wait. It was 12:00 before they had it ready. The order was a mess. One of my salads was 1/2 the size it should have been (ordered a full, was the size of a individual salad). One piece of the pizza was folded in on itself and wasn’t cut all the way, the marinara for the cheesy bread was like water. We got 4 straws for 5 drinks, 2 napkins for a large order, no plates. The workers were nice though!
Great food , great service, good prices. Finally got a great pizza in Albuquerque. The Italian sandwich was on point...10/10?
Do not come here if you have dietary restrictions. If you do, say that you will die so that they will make your order correctly. We had ordered a pizza with no meat, but found sausage in it. We called Dion's to let them know they messed up the order and it was an issue as an individual was vegetarian. To my vehement dissatisfaction, they showed no remorse. We were speaking with a "Rosie" around 9pm on Tues Jan 25th. She kept insisting that the pizza was made correctly as the other toppings were correct, that the sausage must have accidentally slipped in as it was next to the other toppings, and to state that we have allergies next time so that the order can be made actually correctly.Apart from improving their customer service, Dion's needs to learn what the definition of a correctly made pizza is, and to give diligence to successfully executing all their orders, not just the ones where someone will die if they slip up.To my friends who have dietary restrictions, I strongly discourage eating here. I've never faced such rude customer service before, including blatant disregard for customer's needs and taking no accountability for their mistakes.
I am a creature of habit, so take that as you will, but I still think it says something that Dion's 505 Pizza is the ONLY PIZZA I HAVE PURCHASED since I moved to Albuquerque. And I have eaten a lot of it. I was lucky enough to eat a 505 pizza for dinner my first day in town courtesy of my parents. It was a great jetlag food.I have since discovered their lemonade, and now I get a gallon every time we get pizza. I love how every time it's just a little bit different--that's how you can tell it's the real thing, and not from concentrate or powder or something. It always makes me happy when there's a gallon jug of it sitting in my fridge. Early in the pandemic when I was working long, long hours on COVID-19 case investigation and contact tracing, it could really get me through the week knowing that I had liquid sunshine in my fridge.
I love their food but I did not get what I ordered. I ordered a full chef salad with ranch, no bacon, no cheese and got home to find a salad with tortilla pieces, what looks like mozzarella cheese all over it and dried cranberries with honey mustard dressing.I'm very disappointed.***Update***They messaged me and listened to my issue and I feel like they actually cared about making it right.Like I said above, I love their food so I was happy that the management cared.
I took my family here as we were passing through. The pizza is fantastic, especially with a little NM green chile on there! We liked it so much, we ate there again on our way back through Albuquerque.
I hesitated initially to write this review because I felt that the staff was trying hard to please customers (due to the staff shortage) when I was in today, however, measures could have been taken to address the wait issue.I called in an order at 12:05 for a Turkey Swiss sub. I was told it would be 15 minutes. I know sometimes things take a bit longer, so I waited, and arrived at 12:40pm. I went to the drive through line, but it was wrapped around the building. I decided to park and go in. I waited in line until 1:05 to pick up my call in order. There was not a specific line for phone orders.I totally get that it was busy, and that they were doing what they thought was the best they could. I would recommend that when people call in an order, at that time, the employee tells the customer that they are very busy, and that they may have to wait over 20 minutes in line in addition to order preparation time in order to pick up their call in order. My hot sandwich was cold, and I ended up being late back to work from lunch. I would have not placed the order had I known.
Picked up a pizza at Dion's for the first time in a while. Greek salad was good. Tuscan pizza was totally disappointing. Over cooked and very dry. We've had this in the past and was much better. Not sure what is up.Update: I contacted the manager of the Dion's location and he immediately gave me a credit to remedy the problem. A very good response on their part and much appreciated.
