Food was wrong. Justinn took it back, uneaten and left it on the check. Sherrell the cashier was told of this and said she would see if a manager wanted to talk to me after she told me to follow prompts on card reader. Cracker Barrel #CB0617
The facility and wait staff were fine and the shopping was as expected. However the food was not up to par with other Cracker Barrels we have gone to. I will mention that we got there before they opened and were the first that morning. Perhaps it takes a while to get going with the food.
We enjoy eating at the Cracker Barrel. The menu is full of good choices and like the the meals my granddad use to cook! This time the waiter was new and in the process of learning how to serve the customer. It takes a little patience, but we all go through being new in life sometimes. He did very well except the iced tea we ordered was still hot when he filled the glasses. We had to ask for extra ice, no big problem. We need to be kinder to our customer service workers or we will not have any!! Kindness is a gift that is free to give like a smile. Thank you CBOCS for giving young people a chance to prove themselves.
So I placed an order my ticket says 8:14 and arrived at 830 said online I had arrived and we’ll 25 minutes later nothing. So I call and and 10 minutes later nothing call back ask to speak to the manager I mean why offer curb side right? (I wasn’t properly dressed why I did curbside) well I expressed my frustration and she laughed and said ok ma’am and as I was still talking hung up on me .So she gets to me (short petite lady with curly hair) I tell her how unprofessional she is and she blamed the staff. So I’m sure with her as a manager that place is ran like trash. I did call the corporate number too but no I did not eat it but my dogs had a nice breakfast. Would you like eggs and bacon that been out 45+ minutes
Always a family friendly service and a great selection of good quality foods and sales items for sale in their retail store. Love their selections of odd and unique products from days gone by. Really good customer service and generally not too busy except certain times in the restaurant.
Food good, server very good, wait was about average for mid-afternoon seating. It was the food preparation that was the issue, took longer than usual. We ate breakfast for lunch, I ordered grits for my meal,after being served was told they would be up on a minute or 2. I almost finished my me before the manager showed up an explained the grits were almost ready. She thought I still going to accept them, I had to tell her No thanks. It was then she asked, to make them to go, I had to explain they were to be mixed into the meal, no thanks. Got them removed from ticket. Server apologized & explained Cook told him initially would be ready in a minute, 15 minutes later was told it was an expression, meaning 10-15 mins until being done. Guess cook figured I wouldn't mind a cold meal because I just got a nice bowl of hot grits.
Ordered 4 entrees… Country Fried chicken missing the gravy. Baked yam was still hard and crunchy on the inside. Ordered fried apples for 3 of the entrees…. only received 1. Missing 2 sets of corn muffins, which my guys love. I called and was told they’d refund missing items??? I made the decision to order online, my guys wanted something else for dinner. We are in silence because dinner was not what they expected. Never again!
Cracker Barrel has been an all time favorite place to go for country style food. Food is always lovely. Atmosphere is usually very homey. Comfortable seating areas and easy parking.Lately though, you can tell no one wants to be there. Workers are over worked, tired, and short with customers. The place seems busy when there isn't much going on. I worked in a high end restaurant for 2 years and I understand their pains in the work place.I just hope that cracker barrel is taking care of their employees because they are really trying.
First time going to Cracker Barrel. Food was good.. Store was fun looking around. Server seem that he wasn't too experienced but was nice, and tried very hard to make my experience at Cracker Barrel a positive one. Thank you for a good experience.... Was fun evening....
Actually had servers. The food was really good, the company was Awesome! They did not care about the open carry either. It was nice. Forgot it wasn't TX. no one bothered me about the mask.
