Went for breakfast one Saturday. You walk up to counter to order and they will bring it to your table. Plenty of free parking and very close to Old Town Service was excellent and we were given a sample of their most popular item on the menu Carne Adovada It is slow roasted pork in a spicy sauce. It is excellent. My husband ordered the plain pancakes with side of bacon and eggs. Eggs are cooked to order and you can get 1-3 pancakes. They are very large and fluffy so unless you are sharing or are very hungry getting two is enough. The pancakes were good, can get the pancakes in different flavors I got the special which was avocado toast with two eggs. Had my eggs made with egg whites. This was very good Prices are reasonable and great covered outside eating with both cooled and heated depending on time of year. Would come back if in area
We ate breakfast here one morning and really enjoyed it. The blueberry pancakes were so fluffy and amazing. Also had the breakfast burrito which was very flavorful without being hot.
Simply excellent. Fast service, friendly staff, great food. I had the pork chop special with eggs and hash browns, all were cooked perfectly. So fast and delicious.
First time at Central Grill. We ordered enchiladas and huevos ranchersos. Sometime later two plates of nachos topped with eggs were quickly placed at our table and the number whisked away. Is this what we ordered? No server was in site. We ate what we were given not knowing if this was the way central grill served these dishes. 15 minutes later a server comes around with enchiladas and huevos - our order! Sure wish we could have tried them. We were given another table's order.
Discovered this our last day in town. Wished we had more time to try out their menu. Neighborhood like place. Casual atmosphere. Very friendly staff and owner. Food choices were very good. Give it a try.
We love this place. It is casual dining but with elevated taste. Service is impeccable and personable. In our two visits, we have tried multiple breakfast dishes and all have been outstanding. The New Mexico red and green chile sauces are fantastic. You can not go wrong at this restaurant.

Oh. My. Goodness! We just finished a balloon ride (getting up way early and starving) and we found the Central Grill & Coffee House. Super friendly staff, amazing American Breakfast (thick bacon was perfectly cooked), and a glorious Apple Fritter (they even warmed it for us). The parking was easy, the dining room was clean, so, so, good! The bathroom is outside but super clean too! We would give this place 10 stars! ?
The whole staff was AWESOME!! The food was AWESOME!! The selection was AWESOME! May I recommend the Green Chili Creamy Chicken soup....I am trying to duplicate it as we speak...the lunch specials were very good..think it was 8.95 for half a sandwich ( which in my book constitutes a whole sandwich..they were huge) and either soup of a salad and fries....We never made it for breakfast..they are open for breakfast and lunch only..close at 2...are within walking distance of old town...definitely worth going to if you are staying in Albuquerque....
