Ronald and the whole staff are very personable and polite. Best tacos I’ve had in a long time and I’m from Mexico City. Love this place.
We had tacos and a burrito - the Adovado. It was hot and tasty. The ground beef taco was greasy (but still tasty) and the fish taco was ok. The burrito was big. Good, filling meal.
The worst experience i have ever had. I was given spoiled food. My stomach is nauseous and i feel sick. I took the food back to the restaurant. The manager Zac said it would take three days for my money to go back to my card. But i still have a kid to feed and they have the only money that i have to feed him. I asked what was i supposed to do. I can't tell a kid to wait three days to eat. Zac smiled at me and said that wasn't his problem. Bur sir i went to your restaurant thinking that i would be able to get some food that was edible. It would be very helpful if the next time you could tell the customer that the food is spoiled. That way i have a choice on buying from your restaurant or not. I wish i could give a zero rating
Enjoyed my overall experience! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and very attentive! Best customer service I have experienced in quite some time. Great job!
I like salt as much as the next guy, but everything here was 3x saltier than it should have been. Even with all the ingredients packed into each taco, the only real flavor was "salty taco". The pinto beans were just "super salty beans" -- no other flavor. The chips were also loaded with too much salt. I was completely underwhelmed by the food here, I've had tacos from taco trucks that were 100x better for 1/2 the price.
Smaller than their other location that closed. But the food and staffs remain the same. Best tacos throughout the country, I've been all over due to my trucking career. I've yet to compare any taco to theirs. Great friendly staff!
We have been to the other location that had recently closed (so unfortunate!!) But we were so happy to find out that they had this second location. They have got to have some of THE BEST tacos we have ever had before and they never disappoint. Staff was incredibly friendly and the seating inside is comfortable as well. I don't know when I'll be in New Mexico again, but coming to Casa Taco is always a goal when we roll through.
It's been awhile since I've been here. I honestly have never been disappointed and I've ate here quite often. However, the prices have gotten EXTREMELY high for what you getvin quanity. I just spent $74. My taco shell for my salad was maybe 1/3 full. Thin layer of beans, even thiner layer of chicken; which you pay an additional $1. My son's BBQ chicken quesadilla was $9. It's only HALF of a small tortilla; folded in half. The kids meal is the taco pictured. Chicken taco, small 8 oz or so drink and side of beans for $7. My Horchata was $3.50. I posted a picture. They put much ice and it's a small cup I only had about 3 to 4 drinks before it was gone. I guess I'll be heading back to Cocina Azul after this evening. I feel ripped off.
Absolutely top notch tacos, but be warned there will be a wait.Getting the elephant out of the way first, this is not a spot for a quick lunch. Expect 20 minutes minimum after you order, possibly up to 40 if it's really busy. Luckily you can order online and they even have a drive-though pickup. That being said, the tacos here are delicious. You're a fool if you don't try the puffy tacos at least once.In summation: great Mexican that's definitely worth the extra time.
I still prefer a good old cheap Texas taqueria truck but I can't complain. I've always had great service and really good food at a decent price. This is more of what I would call a California style taco place but I have no complaints.
