Good food and great service. However not the same restaurant chain it was in its hay days in the late 90s. They've stopped serving their amazing carrot cake and cinnamon apples. What a shame.
Love Boston Market! Always have. This is the ONLY Boston Market in all of New Mexico. The chicken is SO GOOD here. I always get the corn and mashed potato sides because I like to mix them together. Great news for the gluten free folks... the gravey is Gluten Free!! Woohoo! Very vlran store. Not very busy and still the high quality I'm used too from Boston Market! Thank you! Establishment was somewhat clean when I walked in. Front counter help was just okay. Music blaring (not really family friendly) but was changed a few minutes later as more people walked in. Some staff members actually sitting on the counters at the entrance. The meal generally speaking was okay. The chicken itself (traditional) was surprisingly good. Corn didn't taste too great, just like overheated canned corn. Mashed potatoes were okay, white gravy tasted a little too much like flour. A small cornbread biscuit became hard a few minutes later after opening the container (dine in). The taste of the chicken was the reason for 3 stars. Otherwise, it might have been a 2 star review.
When I pulled up their open sign was off but I decided to try the door anyway. When I walked in it almost looked like they were going out of business, it was empty and freezing cold. The entire kitchen behind the hot bar was dark and had no fresh chicken roasting leaving to to look abandoned. It also smells like an old Chinese restaurant but a dirty one. All of the sides looked very runny and quite frankly, disgusting. So, I went with a pot pie. It looked delicious but when I opened it up, it was basically empty. The employee that took my order hopped on the counter after she rang me up for almost $12. I won't be back.
This is the 3rd TIME that this location has messed up my order. I ordered this online so there is no excuse unless you can't read English. I've called this number 4 times and no one is picking up. Seriously? Yeah, 3-strikes and you're out. And yes, I will be doing a charge-back since I did not get what I ordered. Unfortunately, it won't accept the photo I'm trying to upload.
Got here at 11:30 and got turned away from an employee stating that they open at 12. I told him Google says they open at 11:30 and his response was that "Google lied". Well, guess what your website says? 11:30. Yup, I'm Hangry, so get it together Boston Market.Response to Juan the area Supervisor: Update your hours so that consumers don't waste their time.
This place is always closed on weekends which makes no sense. The food is cold and dry and never have what they offer on the menu. They have employees and people who don't care for there job. This place will be under by end of this year and none of the Douches behind the counter will have a job. Good because they don't care. Losing business fast. I WILL NEVER GO BACK BECAUSE EVERYTIME I DO A ONLINE ORDER I GET CHARGED AND WHEN I ARRIVE THEY ARE CLOSED DURING BUSINESS HOURS POSTED. WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.
Placed an online order and got a confirmation time. Went to the restaurant at designated time and they were closed. They still processed my payment. Workers at the location who were very polite told me they could not issue a refund in store for an online order. Left feedback on the main website but no response. 800 number never connects to a person. I'm now having to dispute the charge through my bank.
NEVER GOING BACK! THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS ORDERS WERE WRONG. ORDERED THE $149.00 GIVEN THE $129.00 MEALS. HALF THE MEALS NOT THERE. SOME OF THE SIDES TASTED BAD. CRANBERRY SAUCE WAS WATERY AND NOT 32 OUNCES, WAS 2 OUNCES. 6TH TIME TRYING TO LEAVE REVIEW. MUCH MORE WAS BAD!!!
Boston Market is great comfort food. I think however this restaurant chain is having problems. The location at Eubank N. of Chico is no longer there. The location at Wyoming and Academy however seems to have limited hours. For awhile this past summer they closed early and often. Also from what I've noticed they seem to be out of items regularly. Hopefully they can stay afloat, it is after all good food.
