This burger joint was recommended to us so we decided to try it while we were in passing through Albuquerque, New Mexico... Not disappointed at all... The burger was delicious and I am glad we got to experience having "Hatch Chiles" in New Mexico... ?
Bacon and Egg burrito with green chili. There's nothing quite like Blake's on a trip or through New Mexico. Lunch is good too. Service at this location was decent and fast. Easy access off I-40 if you're passing through.
It’s fast food. The breakfast burrito was really good and heavyyyy. I’d go again to try something else when I have time. The service was okay. The crew were a little uninspired.
Clean easy access friendly staff quick service. All the facilities seemed fine. My issue is the Lotaburger is is no longer a lot of burger. It is a standard burger with a standard taste profile. In my opinion the special taste has slipped away and the size is definitely slimmed down. I look forward once or twice a year coming to New Mexico and making a stop. Over the last couple years the Lotaburger has changed. They have introduced breakfast burritos and green chili. So maybe I will have to switch over or find another burger joint.
Unfriendly and inappropriate customer service. The person behind the counter was polite to males he interacted with and aggressive toward me, female customers, and female co-workers. Tried to call the store and nobody answered. Tried a corporate line and was sent to a good service call center not in NM. ROUGH EXPERIENCE, NOT GOING BACK WITHOUT A MALE IN MY PARTY.
We love Lotaburger, normally, but tonight at this location, it was horrible. It was incredibly dirty, the uncooked packages of hamburger patties were up on the half wall for all to see (I wonder how long they were there?). We got our order pretty quickly, but I think that's because the burgers were precooked. They were COLD. I don't mean like the-time-it-took-to-get-home cold, but more like the cold tomato overtook the cold patty. There was no root beer...it just shot out dirty-looking water. The fries were dark, limp, and cold. The crew of 3 (that we could see) were totally UNINSPIRED. Not a smile between them in the time we were there. Many thumbs down to this location tonight, but other locations will still have our business.
This location only serves breakfast till 11:00 am. They will do a burrito with no tortilla (I can't eat wheat) so basically I get scrambled eggs with potatoes, cheese and bacon in a Styrofoam container with a fork. Their green chile is always really hot which I usually remember to avoid but sometimes it must still be on their spatulas so even if I ask for no chile it still burns-LOL! Tried their vanilla coffee and really enjoyed it. The employees are not friendly. No one seems to want to be there but the customers.
Took too long. I even saw a couple walk out after waiting for their order for 15 minutes. They just left. I was thinking about leaving too, but my mom said I needed to stay since we already paid for the food. Also, they didn't have any original fries, which I thought was weird. Need more people in the kitchen, only had 3 people working which made it extra slow as well.
It's ok. Not much to choose from, but the burger was fine. They smash most of the flavor out of the patties, unfortunately. The staff seemed nice enough and most of the tables were cleaned recently.
Fish was great but fries were dripping in grease. I brought them home blotted the majority of the grease and warmed the in the air fryer. Counter person had no idea what kind of fish I was going to eat. ??
