Shopped by one morning for coffee and a pastry. Hot coffee and iced latte were exceptional. Had their blueberry muffin which complimented the coffees. Located in a pleasant garden area. Nice place to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.
We visit every time we come to Old Town. The Jack Rabbit is my favorite and perfect. Everyone should check out this quaint, unique coffee shop!!!
Blackbird Café 206, 8 San Felipe St NW 2 Suite, Albuquerque, NM 87104 Hours roughly 8:30-4:30 Mon-Sun The Blackbird Café is a lovely coffee, pastry and food stop in ABQ. The shop serves wonderful coffees and teas, has a great vibe, and has space for sitting indoors and in an adjacent courtyard. Sitting in the courtyard brings the experience of ABQ full circle – church bells ringing, people coming from and going to work. It’s a nice space for folks of all ages to sit, sip, and nosh. The service is good. If I am fortunate enough to return to ABQ, I will stop in again.
When in Abq and if you’re looking for a local cafe definitely try blackbird coffee house. It is so convenient if you’re trying to start your day at the old plaza because it is right at the entrance of the plaza. If you’re dining in the cafe itself is quite small but the outdoor seating has a garden area so grab a table and enjoy the views. The cafe has a vibrant graffiti wall for your Instagram pictures. The numerous reviews this place has is absolutely true. Their coffee is really good. Try the black bird coffee which has a mild Red Chile flavor a must try if you like something different than your usual coffee. My friend tried Bison which was light and good start for the day. We also tried the cherry pastry which was so fresh.
Great coffee! Great pastries! Great service! I tasted the Road Runner, the Hot Chocolate, and the White Mocha. All were good. Best was probably the Road Runner.Merchandise is well priced and cool. Fun place. Easy atmosphere. If it’s not raining, outside is a good place to get school and work done. Inside is a little tight, but cozy. A place where you just instantly like the people.
This shop is tucked off the main drag in a shopping center in Old Town. Very friendly workers and great coffee! I would definitely go back. Highly recommend the oat milk latte.
This is a fun location with beautiful outdoor seating in a lush atrium area in Old Town. The coffee is delicious and I look forward to going here again during our stay in Albuquerque.
Great little cafe to take a break while checking out the old town. Beautiful patio just outside it
Paid a visit during Christmas week vacationing at n New Mexico. If we not I could take this place back to Boston with me!!! My hot beverage was phenomenal and the cozy courtyard setting ideal. Brought home a mug to remember.
First off, the staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Bison hot; I couldn’t really taste the red chile, but it was delicious and velvety! The taste and texture was chef’s kiss ? Not as good as the Cottonwood or the Roadrunner though. The Cottonwood cold had subtle smooth lavender and honey flavor. Oh and the cinnamon on the cold roadrunner was perfect. Drinks 10/10. Environment 10/10. The lighting was relaxing in combination with the smooth jazz. There are options for beautiful patio/outdoor seating with water always available inside. Would recommend for both locals and out of town visitors. My kid recommended this place after studying here.
