I would give 0 stars if that was an option. The owner is very unprofessional . She sells day old cupcakes and all the Gluten free cupcakes and bars are frozen and pulled from the freezer. She never sanitizes anything in her kitchen or work areas. You can never rely on the set time to pick up cakes or custom cupcakes everything is almost always late especially on Saturdays.
For the last 2 years I’ve ordered customized cakes for my sons birthday and they both came out amazing. Thank you!
The gluten-free chocolate cookies and cream cheese brownies were the best gluten free or regular brownies that I have ever had. I wish I lived closer, but, maybe it's good that I don't.
Ordered cupcakes and smash cake for our daughters first birthday party on April 23rd. Delivery was scheduled for 12pm and they didn’t show up until 1pm when people were already here because they had a big delivery to fill that was more important than our scheduled time. Cupcakes were good but cake was hard and dry. So hard that our daughter was barely able to dig into it. As much as we paid, I would expect better service and quality.
My sons ordered my birthday cake from here - a gluten-free carrot cake. This was the most DELICIOUS carrot cake any of us have ever had! We will be ordering all of our occasion treats from Bittersweets from now on!
We love stopping here for a treat. The cupcakes are incredible. Every single cupcake I’ve had has been filled with delicious cream on the inside. They stay well at room temperature as well if you buy a half dozen or a dozen and don’t eat them right away. Very friendly staff. Always a great time here.
I ordered 24 cupcakes for 103 dollars for my grandson's 4th birthday. When I arrive to pick them up almost an hour after pick up time they were still not ready she said they needed to be frosted which only took them 5 minutes to frost so it was rushed. When I got home the frosting was sliding off some of the cupcakes and they were really small. When I called to ask about the size of the cupcakes they said it was standard size I really thought they were going to be the size of the cupcakes that they sell in the front that's why I was willing to pay almost $4 a cupcake but I was wrong. I could have spent $10 at Walmart and got the same cupcakes I was so disappointed I even felt like crying because I felt so cheated and there was nothing I could do about it when I called it was basically my fault. Next time I will definitely read the reviews because the reviews for cupcakes were all very poor I was trying to support local companies. Please read reviews and make sure you ask all the questions and actually see the size of the cupcakes before you purchase so you don't have to go through the same thing we had to.

Bittersweet stepped in when my bakery unexpectedly went out of business two months before my wedding, and they did some absolutely fantastic (and very affordable) cupcakes for my reception. I got two dozen each of five flavors, all extremely delicious and different enough that they were easy to tell apart. The cupcakes themselves were incredibly moist and tasty (even days later sitting on the counter) and the icing held up well to the heat and wind. Delivery was prompt, pre-event communication was clear and professional, and everyone I worked with was extremely friendly and helpful. They were also very flexible considering I didn’t have much pre- event notice to place a large order. Check them out for your next event!
