Amazing place! Good portions, good price. Great service.
This place is very tiny. If you have a party of 2+ if there’s no seating, would have to take the food and eat back at the hotel. This place is more for lunch than it is for dinner. Don’t get me wrong, can still eat here for dinner. The kimchi is okay. The cucumber is good. The full size Korean pancake can be a meal in itself. Got the combo bowl with beef and chicken, very flavorful. On the bottom there’s noodles.
We ate ramen & kimchi pancakes. YUM! The food was delicious & wveryone was super friendly. While we were eating, a very nice lady (the owner?) even brought us samples to try. I highly recommend it! ?
Asian Pear is one my favourite restaurants in Albuquerque. My partner and I have eaten here almost weekly since we discovered it in 2020, and it’s still a huge craving for us. We always order a combo Kim Bowl with chicken, beef and brown rice with either Ito En green tea or Thai tea (which is never watered down and always flavourful!!) Lately we noticed that they offer a fried egg as a topping for the bowls, and it made an already amazing dish even better! Their bento boxes, Kim chi pancakes, potstickers, vegetable rolls and kim Bob are also very tasty! We have never had a bad experience at Asian Pear, the staff is always friendly and will go out of their ways to accommodate our preferences. The food is always delicious. We definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re craving Korean BBQ!
Frozen and horrible potstickers/dumplings. We saw them take out a frozen bag of potstickers ?. We won’t be back. Very friendly staff, though
You HAVE to get the #3 Kim Bowl! This Spicy Korean BBQ Bowl with double-noodle, no-rice, add-egg is PHENOMENAL!!!All the other food was delicious and well-tolerated by the entire company, even our picky toddlers! This amazing-quality, family-friendly, delicious restaurant (especially if you order what I’m glad I did!) deserves all the praise and repeat business!

Like always the food was good. It was the personal experience that made me rate them at a 2. It was an unusual cold evening and I asked to close the door.It literally is 27° outside and we were sitting by the door. After asking to close the door they refused. Because we had 5, it was the only place to sit. I have 3 kids that I had to sit separately because they refused to close the door. Placing there comfort above ours. Even though I like the food, I wont come back.
This WAS my new favorite restaurant. It's healthy, affordable, quick, and delicious! At least it was... I went back to try another dish and I had one of their soups. The flavor was awful, and the kimchi taste like watery cabbage. To add insult to injury, I was sick on the toilet for two days afterwards. OMG! I understand all restaurants can have bad days, but when they jeopardize your health that's not ok!
Loved the Korean pancake! Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, nailed the flavor profiles and a generous portion. The noodles were also excellent. The star is down one notch because my BBQ chicken was dry and uninspiring. The taste was there, though. Decent kimchi as well!
