Hidden gem! I got a delicious salad to go from here for a great price — and they even threw in a cookie! Friendly, efficient service and good for a fresh, simple lunch.
so glad they're open again, great location at the main library, very warm, friendly atmosphere, large selection of sandwiches, salads and soup, good food at a reasonable price, will have lunch here often when returning or picking up library books
Happy to see Al's open today while I was walking by the library! My go to is a Jojo's Jive turkey sandwich with a side salad. Chocolate chip cookie is always a great touch!

It was my second time here, the 1st time was a few weeks ago, I called in my order for a salad, when i arrived it was almost $10 for a small sized salad and honestly wasn't even that good... Seemed not fresh and was even a little luke warm. Today we forgot lunch so decided to give another chance... I went in to order and Man-Bun didn't even acknowledge our existence as we stood right in front trying to order our food. We stood there for about 10 mins and were passed over so we just walked out. Will not be back.
I have gone to this place on 3 occasions now for lunch. For around $9, you get a hot sandwich, choose a side, and a can of your favorite soft drink. It's inside the library building. I have enjoyed all 3 sandwiches and will keep going back occasionally for lunch. Great customer service as well.
