Was driving through town and wanted to check this place out and it was a good idea that we stopped by. I really liked the old school diner vibe of the restaurant. I ordered the 66 burger with potato salad and it was amazing. The waitress and the other staff were very professional. I really liked how they had pez dispenser for decoration. They also sold some and gave some extra pez to my daughter. Thank you!

We were looking for his place to take a picture on our road trip. But of course after we arrived, we just knew we had to go in and get some! I ordered the Elvis milkshake and my friend ordered some other plus carrot cake. They were delicious! They were served in the mixing glass sitting in a malt glass. There was enough for 2 1/2 malt glasses of shakes! We loved everything about this little diner, including all the Pez dispensers that were along the ceiling. The waitresses were adorable in their uniforms and of course we loved the music!

50 and 60 experience, great service, big portions

Keep in mind: I think this place is usually good - one of the locals stopped at our table as she was leaving and told us it is always good and that tonight was not representative. That says something. But, alas, this was likely to only chance we will ever have to visit. The decor is cool and we enjoyed the photo ops, but seems there was a new bad cook? Long story short: waited over an hour for food that was over-cooked and not good. Our waitress, Heather, was a gem, but circumstances were beyond her control. It seems from other reviews and our local friend's comments that this was an anomaly - it was just bad luck. Sad, because I was looking forward to this visit. Still recommend for a photo-op stop and a shake.

We enjoyed the diner. The food was fine and the prices fair. We had sandwiches. The milkshakes looked delicious. . But we had a late lunch and weren't that hungry. There is a parking lot on the side of the diner.

My wife and I are traveling through the area, and this was one of the eateries we had planned to stop at. Since it was Mother's Day, the small parking lot was full. We had patience though, and rode around the block a couple times and then got a parking space. We were told it would be a hour's wait, but in fact, it really was only about twenty minutes. As I said, we were determined to eat here. We're so glad our determination paid off, because we loved this place! It brought back some truly great memories, since we both were kids of the 50's and 60's. Our server was very good, pleasant and attentive. The food was great!! We enjoyed all we ate and left very pleased with the entire experience the Route 66 Diner offered. Highly recommend!
