Driving from Westport, CT back to Silver Spring, MD, I pulled off at the Thomas Edison Rest Area on the Turnpike and was delighted to find a Pret-A-Manger. I got a chicken wrap and an iced latte with almond milk. The wrap was fine, and the latte was terrific and a treat.
This is one of the best rest stops in New Jersey. Despite being as busy as they are, they are fast and clean. The restrooms were unremarkable in both men and women’s. Thank-you to your employees who are dedicated to providing travelers with a clean place to stop while on the road!
Their sandwiches use to be good now their quality is not good, egg sandwich barley had 3ggs in there, and tuna sandwich had very little tuna in there.
This definitely was a crowded place and not many were wearing masks. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. People were everywhere! They did have a Burger King, Chick-fil-a, Aunt Annie’s, Starbucks and a couple of grab and go places but the lines were long and no social distancing. The workers at Chick-fil-A and Aunt Annie’s were not friendly. Do yourself a favor and stop somewhere else!
Worst place ever. I'm giving one start because I can't give 0. I went there for two coffee and I have to ask for the order 3 time and at the end the order was wrong. The staff are horrible very nasty.
The girl at this coffee shop needs to remove her headphones and serve the customers. We went there today and she got the whole order all wrong.
Large bright busy building with Starbucks, Burger King and Chick-a-fil-a. There is a convenience store and clean bathrooms.
Healthier choices but pricey
I'll tell you...in my opinion, New Jersey has the best and the cleanest rest stops in the country. Nice mix of places to get food. Especially Starbucks! It seems like they have protocols in place for COVID-19 that are working great. And best of all, always a clean restroom.
Food is really tasty, healthier choices, and fresh, but over priced.
