We got to Il Castello several times a year with clients. I have not yet been disappointed. It is very old style, and would look appropriate in an episode of the Sopranos. Service is also very old-fashioned Italian. Listening to Angelo recite from memory all the specials and all their ingredients takes me back. The menu is huge and the food very good. On my recent visit I really enjoyed the fresh buffalo mozzarella appetizer and the cheese ravioli with meat ragu. In an area with many chains, it is quite a standout.

It was delicious food. Wonderful service and very attentive wait staff. We were there for my sisters wedding reception and was very pleased with the service. I had the salmon and it was cooked, it más moist and tender.
We were invited to meet our best friends at this local restaurant. We'd never been there and I am always up for a really good Italian restaurant. We met in the bar and were greeted by a lovely bartender. I told her I was craving something with gin, sweet, citrus-y. She made me a great drink with pineapple juice and lime! It was yummy! When our table was ready we were seated in a round table near the center of the main dining room. My girlfriend requested a salad for everyone to started - it was crisp and fresh and very good. I had the lamb - it was cooked to perfection. Everything was just so good! Deserts and espresso after and a good bottle of wine. I joked with the waiter when he said something about knowing Italian food - I said I am Sicilian and oh boy, did we start with each other - good-naturedly of course! Great place, higher-end prices but well worth it. Can't wait to have an excuse to go back!
