I ordered dinner from this restaurant through Grub Hub a couple weeks ago. I ordered a whole jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and collard greens as:sides. I also ordered and paid for rice and chocolate cake.What I received was the jerk chicken and 3 containers of collard greens. No one from the restaurant called to let me know,I wasn’t going to get what I ordered or to apologize.I could not eat the jerk chicken with just a vegetable so I wasted $40. Grub Hub wasn’t any help.It’s a shame, I used to order food from here on a regular basis. No more.
First time eating there, I had the BBQ Ribs with potato salad and my husband had Jerk Chicken with yams and green beans. Food was so delicious, yams needed some sugar but overall great service and the guys in there, work as a team. Can't wait to visit again! Keep up the great work.
It’s was nice to be greeted by the owner Mr. Glenn Richardson. Very pleasant person. First time at Heavenly BBQ. SATISFIED first time customer. Looking forward to my next visit to have my Friday or Saturday fish dinner?
The food is overall okay. Sweet potatoes are delicious. As well as the pork chops in brown sauce. The green beans taste very plain. The jerk chicken was good and the rice was a little dry. Coleslaw was gross though. The peach cobbler was good as long as it was hot. Once it cooled it was not a good texture. I’d order again from there but would stick to certain foods. They also ran out of food items a few times when called. I guess a hit or miss with this one.
Got the pulled pork sandwich. Pork was great. Mac and Cheese was really good.They give you the pork in a container along with 2 slices of bread on the side. you make the sandwich yourself. Could have used a couple more slices of bread but wasn't really a problem.There is no dine in option available here.
The food is mediocre will not order from here anymore. I ordered the family meal of 1/2 bbq chicken with beef ribs. My side dishes were string beans, potatoe salad, yellow rice and collard greens with a side order of calamari. First, let me start off by saying the bbq chicken and ribs were good. As for the sides dishes were not. The string beans taste like water completely tasteless, potato salad was okay, collard greens tasteless, rice and mac cheese was okay. Calamari look like rubber bands as far as the taste if i ever tried to eat a rubber band im sure it will taste like this calamari. Bottom line will not order from here again.
I sent to a friend for lunch.. she said greens, bbq chicken and Mac n cheese were delicious .. A pleasant surprise.
First time ordering here today. We ordered half jerk chicken, small pork bbq, yam, fries, potato salad, corn bread.Jerk chicken is out of this world. Never had any jerk chicken this good before. Wife thinks it was too spicy,but i will be ordering this again next time. The breast part is kinda dry though.The potato salad is also very home style. I remember my friend's mom made very similar kind last Christmas. We both enjoyed the potato salad very much.Some of the Pork ribs were kinda dry and tough for me. The sauce wasnt enough. Not a big fan. Wife seems to enjoy it though when it wasnt the tough part.The fries are surprisingly good.Not a big fan of the yams.The 3 pieces of cornbread were all burnt at the bottom and were very dry. We regretfully tossed them out.Overall a 4 star, will be back to try some other things on the menu. I'm already full, but still cant atop thinking about that jerk chicken!! Man that was good.
I live an hour away but I will drive the distance for the chicken wings. They are the best I've ever tasted! No one can come close to the taste. What's even more incredible is the taste of leftovers!!! My sister and I ate leftover wings the next day after you catered our event and could not believe how delicious they were the next day!!!
I have ordered from Heavenly BBQ a few times. Their food keeps me coming back. I am a department supervisor and have a crew of hearty eaters that I buy lunch for when they work with me. I order pans of food. As I said they have hearty appetites and know good food. They say the food is phenomenal. Chicken and ribs are moist and juicy. The sides are great, peach cobbler is delicious. The very large order is always ready on time. Check out this place for lunch, dinner, or catering. You’ll never go anywhere else for BBQ.
