Be aware of this restaurant. We ordered based on recommendation. However they cheat every which way they can. While the food was ok-> good, these people WILL NOT give you everything you order unless you verify while leaving the front desk. So just be aware if you are planning to order in pursuit of authentic food. Their food is good not great but truthfulness is what counts.

We ordered a lot of stuff from this place in one order. The kababs were great. However butter chicken and rara goat probably over the top. I am giving 4 star for quality of food because I do not want to injustice to assessment of quality but their integrity is questionable and in order to thrive in business you need to have integrityA little bit of caution for customers who do large orders. Please be careful and before leaving the front desk after paying please match your No of dishes ordered vs no of dishes packed. They did not give us dal makhani although we paid for it. Worst they did not even own up to it and said they verified through the camera they said they verified but refused to share that just to verify. It is not about missing to pack a dish it is more importantly the integrity of the shop.Their food quality is great but in my mind they should be called out for not owning up to not packing the dishes they charge you for . Just spare little more time in verifying it

Best Delicious Food, Made Like Home Made. ????

Best goat curry and chicken biryani I ever had, hospitality is amazing. The best thing is that it's located inside a deli so it's like a one stop shop.

The butter chicken tastes so authentic and real .. I have eaten butter chicken almost everywhere in NY/NJ area .. This is by far the best. Never been disappointed I have ordered so many times from here!

Good food - comes very close to authentic food one would taste in the streets of Delhi or AmritsarChef Sharma is warm and friendlyGood for takeoutsTip: tell them beforehand it you prefer less buttery dishes

Disappointing lunch experience. Ordered takeout on few items: Naan was thin, dry, crispy and burnt.1. Plain naan: lacking in flavor and texture.2. Chilli garlic naan: tasted like burnt crispy garlic toast. Not spicy and lacking any chilli flavor $3. Ordered Chilli garlic naan but looks like we got the garlic naan. The guy who took the order even repeated our order back so not sure what went wrong there.3. Dal makhani: good but not great. Only saving grace of this whole ordering experience3. Dili wala Butter chicken: a pricy butter chicken ($16) was too sweet for my taste. Never thought butter chicken gravy would be this sweet. It had 4 boned pieces of tandoori chicken mixed in. I'd pass on this unless you like sweet gravy4. Hariyali chicken: lacked flavor and looked like it had artificial green food coloring. I would pass on this unless you dont mind food coloring.Overall, I've had flavorful Punjabi food experience else where. Other places offer complimentary rice and salad. Here you get just the salad. Unfortunately, will not be going back here again.

The food was good but really salty. It looks delicious. The workers are really cool.

Not sure why other folks raved about this place. Been eating Indian food for decades from nyc to london and this was among the worst I have ever experienced.Unpalatable, way too hot (even though I requested mild), visually unappealing main dishes, naan was non-existant.Overall, it physically attacked me for days.Do yourself a favor and keep looking…there is way better in this area.

Unique location, but the food solid! The butter chicken Is great! Also, the samosa were really good. We will be back! Just wish they had more green curry dishes on the menu.
