Been going there a long time, knew as soon as they answered the phone. — New Owners —. and that’s why they were closed for a few weeks. Now the reviews of past don’t count and I’ll be nice here just saying that I won’t be back there anytime soon. Chicken was of less quality / smaller in size n tuff to eat. I will wish the new owners good luck but I’ll drive over to Clark BBQ for now on !!

Ive been ordering from here for atleast 20 years, and I keep coming back. The food is great and the service is even better. There is no where to sit and dine, but it’s the best take out bbq around.
My family and I have been going here for many years now. Danny is an extremely nice guy and the food never disappoints. The ribs are especially my favorite
I order from here at least once or twice a month. Never had a issue. Rack of ribs comes with rice and fries and none of it goes to waste!! So good!!
My husband and I order from here at least once a week! FOOD IS AMAZING! My family and I used to go to Clark BBQ but stopped due to very dry and charcoal like chicken. We found this place about 2 years ago when we moved to Colonia and so glad we did! Danny is the sweetest person and always welcomes you with open arms right when you step inside the door. 10000% recommend!
Perfect option for Keto diet. I ordered the 1/2 chicken, 1/2 ribs platter. Taste was great and I didn't have to worry about the sauce adding extra carbs. I also ordered the garlic shrimp but I wasn't a huge fan of that dish. Was a bit too salty for my taste. Long wait time, I guess no one wanted to cook this Sunday lol.
TOTALLY AWESOME! MY fellow 49ers fan at the front is a GREAT GUY, offers excellent customer service. He works hard and long hours. Be kind and tip the staff, they are always running around to keep the food coming quick. THANKS GUYS ?
I ate from here on a recommendation from some coworkers. I ordered the half chicken, with rice and french fries. 3 of the same order came out to $29 (with a single can of soda, I wanted to try their pineapple soda). The food was very bland, and the chicken was dry. They either need to find a way to have the chickrn not dry out in a 10 minute car ride back to the office, or offer a sauce or something. They do give a tiny BBQ or hot sauce, when requested, but the chicken is very dry and it goes quickly. The staff was very nice and the chicken was seasoned nicely, so maybe it was just a fluke. I'll update if I visit again.
I promised my son to search Google for the best BBQ place that we can try and this place did not disappoint, whatsoever! We specifically drove 45 minutes and it was so worth it.The gentleman at the counter who took our order was more than helpful and courteous. My son and I both looked at the menus and each other and ordered the same, smoked chicken & ribs combo. The man who helped us (I think the owner), suggested just one order would be sufficient to share. This honest man just took away half of his business, as we were gladly placing two orders, however, the combination of his brutal honesty and the phenomenal food quality and quantity, is what prompted me to write this.I would highly recommend anyone that desires quality smoked BBQ with paramount service, to TRY THIS UNASSUMING PLACE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. It will not disappoint and it’s obvious why they have the highest google ratings.There was no seating inside (perhaps due to Covid), but my son and I went out to the car and devoured this smoked deliciousness, like two wild animals, lol! Memories that will last a lifetime.In one word… IMPRESSED!!! We will be back!
