Absolutely agree with all of the positive reviews. Went there for the first time today and everything I got was amazing. It is a good idea to go in knowing what you want because everything is made fresh to order therefore it will take a little bit of time. The dosa is top notch. There are many to choose from so no the difference. You may be able to ask for an explanation but if you’re not familiar with Indian food do your research before you go. Expect everything to be a little spicy. There are no frills or fanciness to the place. You walk up and get your own napkins, cutlery, water after ordering. They will call out your number to pick up your food at the window. My favorite part was the planet friendly solution to refills on the Sam bar. Once you are done you walk up to the window and ask for a refill. Do not throw that container away if you want more.
The best place to have homestyle Dosa, Vada and Besibelle bhat. Real ghee. Good taste. Overall a nice cozy place.
Visited this place for the first time and would certainly go regularly henceforth…absolutely delicious food .. dosa, uttapam , upma , pongal …everything was so so good !! Correct blend of spices and perfect taste !
A big array of Indian food, but their specialty remains delicious Dosas at an affordable price. I order a different dosa on my each visit and it is always great. Always worth a visit.
Food is okay and service is terribly bad. The quality of food was better a few years back. The place is clean and hence the 2 stars.
Food was good, supply issues made the experience unique since you'd have to bring your own containers for the chutney and sambar. Still, this is a good restaurant to visit if you want authentic South Indian dishes.
this used to b a good place to eat years ago, although the lady in the front was always rude. However, the last time I went there, the food was horrible, she did not even have enough courtesy to put the samosa away from the chutney. By the time I was tossed the plate (sorry "given") the samosa was already sogged up in the chutney. The masala in the dosa was rolled up in big ball in the middle of the dosa with all both sides completely hollow. The lady's attitude really needs to be better and respectful. I wonder if she is being forced to work there against her will or is not paid at all? Not sure what her deal is. But, it is really hard to go to a restaurant where you have to deal with someone like her before even seeing the food. You go to a restaurant to have peace of mind and relax. Her attitude and the mediocrity of the food only raises ur stress levels. Needless to say, I have not gone there after that horrible experience. I work hard for my money and I am not going to throw my money in a place like that.
We didn't have to wait in line, ordering was fast, our order came quick but food was not even 10% of what it used to be . I have been to this place in past, but now sambhar is tasteless, stuffing inside the dosa didn't even have enough salt.
Value for money. Quick service. Clean place. Not the authentic taste, but still good.
THE BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD. YUM. There are many vegan options, just ask!Hands down, this is my favorite restaurant: big portions, fresh ingredients and always clean. Anytime I’m in NJ, I go out of my way to stop in.
