It was amazing as usual! We will be back asap :)!
Casa Giuseppe is one of Northern/Central New Jersey's best Italian restaurants in my opinion. With my family (they know) this is a prime father's day choice for me. Also I have taken my father when he is visiting from out of state here and he loves it too. I have used this venue for multiple business dinners and it is always very well received. Staff and Management are excellent professionals always inviting and gracious offering top service and attention.
Always fabulous! My favorite place for the best service.
This place charges $10 extra for sharing a plate. This is not on the menu neither the server will inform you. When you see the bill and ask, the manager said its on the website and brings a different bigger menu which states the extra charge for sharing. Even though we (group of 4) were not informed about it in the menu or by the server, we were fine with paying the charge until a rude manager started arguing about it and souring our experience. We had ordered insalata, main course and desert. One of 4 deserts we ordered was molten lava cake which had no molten lava. When we informed the server, he saw that there was no molten lava, took our plate and returned after few minutes offering a replacement. We did not take a replacement. When the bill was being discussed, the impudent manager came to us and started very rudely about how he had not charged for a chocolate mouse cake and that the share plate is on the website. I had to tell him to talk politely and in a civilized manner as we were only trying to find information on the share plate charge. Overall, food was ok, small portions, but a terrible rude manager ruined the experience.
Fathers Day
Food was fresh, authentic and fabulous! And the experience and attention was outstanding
Hadn't been back to Casa Guiseppe since the pandemic. They haven't lost a step...great service, fresh and tasty food. Great dining experience!
The menu is diverse, the food was delicious and the staff makes you feel like family. Looking forward to returning as soon as I get back from vacation. ??????
Food and service were amazing! Our server Melissa was the best!
Great food, but terrible service!!!We went for dinner on Mother’s Day. Reservation was done 4 days in advance. When we get there we were told there were no tables inside, and so we were led to the outdoor seating. It was cold, but they did have heaters so we were fine. We sat for over 20 mins before they came to even ask us for drinks and appetizers. They were too busy with the other tables and basically ignored us. That was really special on a special occasion like Mother’s Day!After we ordered appetizers the older Hispanic waiter (tall with glasses) came over with our food. He knocked over the ice cold water on me, and then said “oh it’s only water!” Seriously? The table cloth was drenching and my clothes were wet. You can imagine as it was already cold and windy and then to just bring a few napkins and not even change the table cloth. My son did not like his entree as he thought it was bland and needed salt. He wanted red pepper flakes, but the young waiters couldn’t understand English, and brought cheese instead! The lobster ravioli was delicious and so was the linguini with shrimp.Towards the end my daughter asked to take hers to go as she had only eaten half of it. The same older Hispanic waiter comes back after a few minutes enquiring about what she had ordered because they apparently threw her leftovers in the trash. That was enough for us even though they made a whole new entree. We didn’t even stay for desserts or cappuccino as planned. No apology or complimentary dessert/coffee. Even though the food was good, but because of this experience on Mother’s Day we will not be going back. The waiter needs to be trained!
