I have been going to surfside west for 20 years. I have never had a bad meal or experienced anything less than amazing hospitality. The breakfast menu is creative and delicious. The ricotta pancakes with blueberries, the hangover which is hash browns topped with cream chip beef and a perfectly cooked runny egg, the potato pancakes with the creamy horseradish sauce. All of it is perfectly executed and the owner Mike is super friendly. Love surfside west. They are doing it right. Bravo !!
This was our last stop before heading back home from our first trip together to Wildwood. I had the chorizo omelette with tomatillo sauce. My husband had the hangover bowl. They were so delicious. Even the toast, especially the sourdough toast was lovely. I appreciated the portion sizes, which weren't too big but also not too small. Coffee's great, too! Great way to end the trip!
Surfside West Diner is the place to go for breakfast in Wildwood. The owner will come and have a chat and the coffee keeps coming. Great food and lovely people.

Like you stepped back in time! Everyone is very pleasant. Food is especially the ricotta ?. We loved the Surfside Dinner and definitely recommend stopping by for breakfast.
We were looking for a nice breakfast restaurant and stumbled upon this place. Their menu had all the breakfast staples plus many with an added twist. We had their daily specials: chorizo manchego omelette and blueberry lemon meringue pancakes. The pancakes were so moist, and were the best we have ever had. We have a 9 month old, and the service with her was amazing. Everyone was so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this place since you can’t go wrong with any of their dishes.
Exactly what you'd hope from a good diner. Friendly staff, good service, consistent food and good coffee. We enjoyed breakfast twice during our stay and should have made it a third. Worth the walk from the motel

I have been a loyal customer to the Surfside since the days when they were on Ocean Ave (and I was a little kid at the time and the Anchor Inn had just closed). Every morning, my family would go to the Surfside where we would be greeted by Michael's wife, Jeannie. Once in a while, we would get Robin as our waitress, and she does the best job, as do all the other members of the wait staff. To top it all off, we get a good morning from Michael, who would top off everyone's coffee at our table. Over the years, things have changed, except for the quality of the food, which has always exceeded my expectations. If you are in Wildwood, please make the Surfside your go-to destination for breakfast.
