Roast pork was amazing I want that again, fried calamari was ok I would’ve loved to have it fried harder, truffle fries a great must have for garlic lovers, buffalo chicken pizza was good never had it with celery on there 4 slices of goodness, Poppi’s is the truth!!
We frequent this restaurant when we are down at the shore every year. We love it! We are always so happy they allow our dog to eat on the patio with us too. Corey the manager was the best!! Our waiter Liam was so sweet and nice too! They both came and kept checking on us and were so helpful and kind. I cannot give them a high enough rating!! Thank you so much Corey and our waiter Liam too! BRAVO!!
5 stars for the Roast Pork Sandwich hands down. The broccoli rabe and long hots on the sandwich were delicious. Fries were nice and crispy as a side. The chicken ceasar salad was very good, only complaint was the croutons were a bit soggy. This order was take out so I cannot comment on service or atmosphere until next time...but there will definitely be a next time because I have to have that sandwich again!!
My family has been frequenting Poppi’s for a few years now, and we have always had great experiences. I am writing this review, however, because our most recent experience was above and beyond.We ordered delivery on a Saturday night, so we knew it would be busy and take some time. The food arrived a little after an hour, and one of the orders was missing items. We called and they immediately stated they would have the driver come back out with the missing items. The driver was back within 20 min with the missing item, an additional serving of that item, AND a dessert. We were completely blown away by the level of efficiency and professionalism of Poppi’s. We were already loyal customers, but this just proved why Poppi’s is our favorite Wildwood restaurant!!!
The brick oven pizzas are to die for! Not your traditional Jersey slice, but in a class of their own! There are so many options it was hard to choose, but try the Caprese, you will not be sorry!! They even delivered to our hotel room!
Food and service was good. Unbelievable that they advertise “military discount” I received $2.00 off a $325 bill. They only apply the discount to the veteran and not the family. I have been to many restaurants in many states and have always received a certain percentage of the bill. $2 off $325 is insulting! What a way to insult those who serve your country.
This is one of our favorite places - we are locals and eat here often. Pizza is great. Salads are also a high point. They are huge so plan on splitting one. One comment - PLEASE bring back the arugula salad. It was our favorite.
The place has real nice vibes, service was good, I especially loved when (management) checked up on our table to see how our food was. I absolutely loved the truffle fries so please try it. I had the caprese pizza with the basil that was real good. ?
Service was great! Ordered the rice balls for an appetizer, they were blah. Ordered the four cheese pizza and it was delicious. Do not let them sit you at a two person table. It was soo small, we couldn’t fit our pizza on there to eat.
My girlfriend and I went to dinner on Saturday night and it was ny first vist to Poppi's and will be my last. We ordered our food and before I had time to enjoy the bread that was excellent, our food came. There was no way that it could have been cooked from the start, it much have been heated up, because it was that fast that it appeared. The food was good, and we were enjoying it. The waiter kept coming and asking if we needed anything else, as if to say, are you done yet. When we were, we both needed a box to take our food home, our waiter did ask if we wanted desert but we declined but we did want a cup of tea. We were drinking that, and we were still finishing up when we were told by the waiter that his manager said that they needed our table for a reservation if we could finish up an leave Well, looking back I wish I would have asked to speak to the manager because I would have told him what I thought and how when we did leave I saw a few empty tables. WOW not the best way to treat customers, and there are so many other options to eat at.
