My waiter was super friendly but service was slow. I would have been okay with that except the food was terrible. I mean the egg rolls were good. My husbands burrito was decent he said except it was suppose to have fries in it (the only reason he got it) but it didn’t. We all asked for queso and didn’t get it. And the burrito bowls were terrible (so bad my daughter and I didn’t even touch them after our first bite). I paid near $100 for terrible food and missing pieces. Wish I would have checked the reviews prior to eating here.
Yeah this place was bad. I'm a man who enjoys a chicken parm, sub pasta for rice so you know my taste in food is bad. So when I tell you this food is bad it's bad.
Had a good lunch here with the Wildwood Bowl with Carnitas. Not sure why there’s so many negative reviews. Definitely a bit overpriced and nothing special, but it wasn’t bad at all. Nice views of the beach on the second floor and good service. Only weird thing is that they don’t have any alcohol. They partner with a different place and you have to order drinks on your phone to have them deliver it to you at your table.
First time trying Papi’s Tacos and I must say this place was pretty good. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Our server, was fantastic. He was attentive, polite, and quick. I would definitely eat here again next summer. This is a new business but I was surprise on how well it is run.
This was our 2nd time here and we loved it again. Cool atmosphere and a really friendly staff! Got the Birria tacos and they were great! Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
This place was terrible. At first, I had a good impression because of the layout and the friendly manager who let me use the bathroom before the rest of my family arrive and when I asked him about where I could get stomach medication he offered me antacids. That's the end of the positivity... first of all, I waited 15 minutes to use the restroom and was only able to get in once the staff knocked on the door, as soon as it happened an employee with his phone out exited promptly. I should've saw the sign that this would be a horrible experience. Once my entire family was seated a waitress took our orders, which took forever considering there were 3 servers there and not many people seated.. Anyways we all got our food and drinks, the soda syrup was very old and they tasted "off".... then the food.. oh my goodness.... I think the meat must've come from a can because it tasted SO bad! (the fish was definitely frozen, but bearable, I was able to eat it.) Out of 8 of us, 2 ate our food. Our disabled grandfather had to leave to get pizza because his food was so terrible. The fried avocado was extremely bitter, so the avocados were obviously too old to serve; the chicken and carnitas both tasted funky... and then when we spoke to the waitress about this, she had an awful attitude and told me "why don't you tell the manager, then" and scoffed at me! I was so shocked because I was being very delicate about the issue as the tropical storm weather just happened here the previous week and of the politeness of the manager at first.... the worst part was that she went to the kitchen staff, who all started laughing and looking at our table. One of the kitchen staff even came out and glared me down. It was so embarrassing and honestly I can tell that this business is just a combination of many bad things happening, whether it be it's going under soon, the staff is underpaid, the kitchen staff don't care, the waiters are over it because they don't get tipped because all the food is so bad... oh boy, I wish I had take pictures of the food we didn't eat because we hardly ate a thing after being starving for most of the day while doing all the pier rides. We didn't even get an item or two off our checks, and the food is EXTREMELY expensive! NYC prices! I would not eat here if I were you, as you will be HANGRY afterwards! Avoid!
Food was tasty. Polite staff and efficient service. Also good to mention that gratuity was included with the bill, which was 18% for us, more than fair!Exactly what you’d expect from the style and name of the restaurant, which is awesome. Definitely wait until after sunset to stop by though. The building is all opened up and has no fans or or AC, so with the sun up you’ll sweat like crazy!Hoping this place only improves with time. I would absolutely recommended you give it a try.
Food was tasteless and texture was awful. It was so mushy and obviously just reheated from being frozen. Even the soda was flat and dirty tasting, even after I asked for a new one. The only good thing was our chips and dips and even the chips tasted like gas.
First time trying Papi’s and we were all pleasantly surprised. The food we ordered tasted very fresh, especially the guacamole. We also ordered Birra tacos, carnitas tacos, and a carnitas bowl, all of which tasted great! Recommend if you’re in the mood for Mexican with a view of the ocean.
Smelled good as I walked by, but dirty place. The food had no flavor and it was over priced, obviously. I would not recommend going here.
