Was looking forward to our meal here as we we visiting from out of town and saw the previous reviews. However, the chicken franchise was just very small breaded pieces of chicken with almost no sauce and the linguine with clam sauce was okay but the clams were not cleaned well. Maybe it’s because we got take out and didn’t dine it that the mark was missed with our meal? Was not worth the cost of the meal by any means.
We had a birthday dinner here on a Tuesday night. We have had dinner here many times and the food was very good and did not disappoint. Our server Madeline did a fabulous job of keeping us happy and she never stopped moving. Highly recommend!!
First timers coming here. We’ve been going to Wildwood Crest for years but never went to Alfe’s. What a nice find. There were only four of us, we arrived at 7:30 and was seated right away. They don’t take reservations. Large parties don’t seem to be a problem. There were many tables of 8-12 people. We ordered drinks (martini flight is great). Them came warm bread and our appetizers, coconut shrimp and clams casino. Then family style salad (a bit overly peppered but still good). Then came sorbet to cleanse the pallets lol. We ordered chicken parm, veal parm, chicken francaise and chicken Marsala. For dessert we ordered terramisou, ice cream, and dessert martini flight. Our waiter was Steve. Very knowledgeable and fun. The food was all good. We really enjoyed it.
This is listed as Italian Seafood restaurant. They have a great selection of common Italian dishes and many unique ones with seafood blended in. I have had many over the years and they are always excellent. They staff is friendly. Prices are in line with all shore restaurants. The atmosphere is a little dated but acceptable. Wine, beer and mixed drinks available. If you want to move up a notch in shore food stop in here.
A long-time family favorite. We've been dining at Alfe's since the late 80s. At first it was place we went for special occasions but now we go regularly. The food is amazing and the staff make you feel like family. Always a great time and great meal. We always plan our next trip when we are finishing our meal - it's that good! Worth the 50 minute drive each way for us.
Nice place for Italian food. It an old fashioned ambiance, but not dated. We appreciated the spacious seating with plenty of room between diners. The food was very good and our waitress was fantastic. Recommend the "Jackie" sauce, loaded with seafood.
This is the third visit to Alfe's Restaurant and I haven't been disappointed! The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. Our server Robert was very personable. I recommend making reservations because it seems like there is always a wait if you just walk in. Still a wonderful place to share a meal with family and friends.
We have eaten at this restaurant many times and the past couple have been bad. The wait is long not that they do not take a reservation. The older female hostess is rude and unwelcoming. The decor is falling apart as is the ceiling. They have put no money into this place and it shows. The staff is also not consistent. The recent one we had said that she was too busy because she was also tending the bar, but she really was not. It took her about 1/2 hour to get to the table to take the order and it was a Tuesday evening, not a big night and they were out of several things. My advice is do not go there. The food has been very expensive and lackluster at best also.
Prim Fix menu for restaurant week was a great deal. Food was very good, and the highlight of the meal was our server, Mattie. She was excellent and took great care of our party of four.
We love Alfe’s. The food is always top notch. Tonight, Stephen our server, was right on. He knew the specials from memory. Very attentive and fun too. If you’ve never dined here, you have to give it a try. You will make it a tradition just like we do
