If you like Cuban sandwiches this is the place for you trust ? ? ? ? ? ? me. This ?? Cuban sandwich was Zagat rated Okay. The rest of their Spanish food is average, but if you like Empandas then it's a must visit a dozen or so different types of Empandas fillings. They are worth the $3.00 eachreally fresh they fry them right in front of you. Also they have good fresh Pork Rinds if you enjoy that like me.

Best Cuban sandwich i ever had. The place is original and owner still serving. Definitely a repeat

Best of the Best. I live in Miami and you can not find a better Cuban sandwich here

So a friend recommended this spot b/c he saw it on the food network as the best Cuban sandwich in NJ. Since we live in JC it wasn’t a far drive. As soon as you walk in you feel like it’s back in 60s/70s and you’re about to get some good authentic grub!An old Cuban man greeted us in Spanish and was like ‘¿quiere do cubano y café con leche?’ I was like ‘claro!’. (Speak up b/c I think he’s a little hard of hearing).Good food and cool atmosphere. It’s definitely not a gentrified spot so bring cash and your nostalgic mind set!

I had never had a cuban sandwich before and was told this was the place to go. The owners were very sweet and they gave me a croquettes to try, which was nice. The only bad thing was cash only or i would have bought more

Went with some buddies for the Cuban Special sandwich. It was as expected, excellent! Perfect amount of Meats and Mustard. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and family. Real pleasure talking with them. Do yourself a favor and stop in and say hello! Leave with a smile on your face and good food in your belly! ?

I don't know what all the hype is about this place. The cuban sandwiches are just ok at best, and only when the pork is fresh. The key to a perfect cuban sandwich is the bread and pork. If the pork is not fresh, meaning no more than one day old, the whole sandwich has that nasty stale pork taste. The media niche tasted so old because of the old pork.

Ahhhh!! Still one of the best Cuban Sandwiches around. I've been going for years since childhood. Glad to see they are still in business and the original owner. God bless.

Delicious Cuban sandwich and coffee. The staff were wonderful! A real gem of a place.

Best sandwich in the world! The perfect amount of delicious meats and crusty bread come together for something truly special. It's worth the trip, just make sure to bring cash. Also, don't miss out on the incredible croquettes, both Spanish and Cuban versions are absolutely amazing. I also make sure to grab a bag of chicharrones before I leave. This place and the very friendly man that runs it are definitely New Jersey treasures!
