Slow service, waited about 10 minutes on a dirty table before getting attention from anyone.. wiped down the table ourselves. Food wasn’t as good as we thought it would be. Expected better. Definitely not coming back.

The place started off decent, over the years became great, and now it's terrible. The last time I went I was alone and I still had to wait for over an hour for one dish. What kind of place does this? They were busy but seriously you couldn't let me know that it was going to be a while and I even saw them serve others that came way after me before. So needless to say they're slow, and have pretty bad service. The food itself was terrible too. The beans and rice had a horrible smell. They were cold and clumpy also trying it reminded me of spoiled food. The meat on the dish was also going bad because it tasted like it was on the verge of being inedible. Overall service, food, and quality are all bad. Trust me go elsewhere and this is from someone who is from the neighborhood there entire life.If I were affiliated from another restaurant I wouldn't even come spend money at this place. The reason they're consistently bad reviews is because the place has been getting noticeably worse...

Pulled up thinking I was going to be blown away from these tacos. All 20 tacos I ordered were dry. I don’t think i am going back. The disappointment is real.

Tio Taco QUALITY CONTROL HAS PLUMMETED in the past year. When I first ordered here it was the best Mexican food I’d ever had. However I’ve been really disappointed in how much they’ve dropped in quality. There was something wrong with the food the last 3 times I ordered (I’ve mainly ordered quesadillas and tacos). 1. An order of chicken tacos with the driest chicken on the planet. I’m not being dramatic, it made my jaw sore, I threw it all out after half of a taco. 2. An order of steak quesadillas, they ran out of steak but instead of telling me they gave me 1 steak and the rest were packed with chorizo (pork). 3. I decided to give the quesadillas one last chance but this time all of the cheese tasted expired. After 2 bites I had to throw everything out. It sucks that this place went from being my favorite Mexican restaurant to completely losing my trust and business. Never ordering from here any location ever again. 2 stars because they at least cared about quality at one point

The food was very bad. Good quantity but worst quality chicken. I took tortilla & quesadilla. The chicken was so bad that I couldn't chew it. I had to throw it. I even saw people leaving much food. Initially thought because of quantity but now I understood that it is because of quality.

Place is excellent, not sure why the reviews are so low maybe its due to the busyness on the weekends. Server was very friendly, we ordered a steak huarache and three sopes. Steak was tender not overcooked it came sizzling still followed by the chips and sauces had excellent flavor felt like a mom home cooked meal. What I reccomend people do if they would like to come in and enjoy a meal come on down during the day time/evening time Monday - Thursday eat it fresh and enjoy a Jarritos, horchata or jugo natural (orange, tamarind, agua de Jamaica) and it will not disappoint.Definitely an awesome place with good food. No beer here fyi.

A true gem and it's BYOB! Love the food here authentic Mexican, enormous portions and very inexpensive! Everything about this place is amazing.. bring your beer and enjoy, bring your tequila and ask them for agua fresca de limon and make your own margaritas! Love Tío Taco

The worst experience ever the make me wait an hour for a burrito. The ladies that work in that place are so slow. If you don’t want to starve to death then don’t go there!

The lady's were rude and the take out food was an hour wait, I've came a couple times but same case. The food can be good depending on what you get.

Very Horrible Service and disorganized. Must had waited 30 to 45 minutes for our food to come out.
