I was in the mood for Italian and found this spot. I called in my order of clam pasta linguini with red sauce. When I arrived I parked in the plaza parking lot. I walked in and was greeted. I told the man my name and he grabbed my food. I paid and left. When I got in I dug in and the pasta was very good. The little pieces of clam were tasty and the sauce was tasty as well. I enjoyed.
Pretty decent food. Great portions, fresh food & good presentation. The stuffed shells could’ve used a bit more seasoning. La Toscana Pasta needed just a bit more sauce on top. It was a bit dry but you got to the good stuff towards the bottom of the pan. Garlic knots were soft! Weren’t huge fans of the pastas but we’re willing to give their pizza a try!
Well tonight was a night of trial and error. For some reason pasta was on the brain so I decided to try something new to us. I’ve never had stuffed mushrooms that were drenched in broth. And I have stuffed mushrooms made by my off the boat family almost every Sunday - so that’s interesting. Soggy mushrooms make the contents of the “stuffing” insignificant because half falls out or or is drenched just seems like a waste. The same could be said for the eggplant rollatini appetizer. There are chunks of onion in the vodka sauce (which, as far as the order goes, is our fault; it does say it’s in there) which is strange and kind of a waste. The chicken and spinach dish is exactly what it is except was quite wet and flavorless. I know that cooked spinach can be wet but it just seemed soupy. We didn’t order the bread knots but they were dense and dry (the ones they gave). The bread that came with the meals is good! Not crispy if that’s your jam. I’d say mediocre is the best descriptor. Won’t be back, unfortunately.
I am upset because I didn’t know this restaurant existed earlier. They make the BEST Sicilian pizza ever. It’s not greasy, it’s super cheesy and has the perfect crunch. They are always busy on weekends and I like that I can order ahead online. By far the best Pizza
We love this place. Food and service is 5 stars. We visit almost once every week for a quick meal.
Pizza was very disappointing. Lacked flavor - dry, with not enough sauce and cheese. The dough was terrible.Garlic knots were cold and very bland.Hard pass for pizza - maybe the restaurant food is better?
Excellent service, very tasty food well prepared. Have eaten there on many occasions and thoroughly enjoyed every meal.
Go to pizza spot. Always delivered hot and fresh. Garlic knots come with every order we have placed. Not sure if that is standard or because they are so friendly and remember us every time we go. Either way, never had a bad meal from Taste of Tuscany
Very good food. Had stuffed shells and they were excellent. Calamari was also really good, not chewy. Service was great. Waitress was friendly, helpful and loads of personality.
